Latest boxing crack

People mocking Fury's opponent choice when AJ's biggest win ranking wise is the person who lost to Fury's choice of opponent.

Stones in glasshouses and all that.

Can we talk about the outrageous amount of Boxing on in the next 8 weeks. Should be illlegal. Never seen anything like it.

13th - Lopez v Campa
20th - AJ v Usyk
4th - Ruiz jr - Ortiz
10th - Marshall v Shields
17th - Canelo v GGG
24th - Joyce v Parker
8th - Benn v Eubank

Enough to make a grown man jizz all over his TV screen infront of his wife.

It would be a terrible choice though, all whataboutism aside. Very very few people are interested in a trilogy bout with Chisora ffs. Fury bamboozled him from southpaw last time.

 Don't hold back there!

What do you think he should do next? Serious question, genuinely interested

If he wants to fight before trying to fight the winner of AJ - Usyk, he should fight a credible opponent. I don't particularly care who, as long as they're a decent ranking.

Serious answer - Fight a Southpaw.

Because the last one he fought he was a bad refereeing decision away from losing. Wallin would be considered too risky now for a tune-up fight, just somebody who's not a gatekeeper and fights Southpaw like.

Might as well drag John McDermott out of the local boozer for the trilogy

Who though? The ABC rankings are nonsense but Box Rec's rankings (for example) are:

1. Fury
2. Usyk
3. Wilder
4. AJ
5. Whyte
6. Parker

7. Chisora
8. Pulev
9. Joyce
10. Hunter

Ring Magazine have:

Champion - Fury
1. Usyk
2. AJ
3. Wilder
4. Parker
5. Whyte
6. Ruiz
7. Ortiz
8. Joyce

9. Hrgovic
10. Sanchez

Have discounted those in italics as they're either fighting each other soon or have lost to Fury in the last year.

That leaves Chisora, Pulev, Hrgovic, Sanchez and Hunter  Suppose you could throw in Wallin and Dubois.

Chisora is clearly the biggest name and probably the best boxer who is actually available.

Literally better off rematching Whyte

Or just waiting a few weeks.

I think Hunter is underated. Gave Usyk a decent scrap although it was at Cruiser.

Hunter's more than underrated. He's that guy who's low down in the rankings who nobody wants to fight as he's a massive banana skin. In today's Boxing society of handpicking your opponents - Why on earth would you pick a fight with someone who's ranked #10 who recently got a draw against the guy who was #1 contender against Fury until Whyte won it back. It's career suicide.

Even saying he’s probably the best boxer is a massive faux pas there mind his windmills from miles out of range dont trouble many these days !

Pulevs a nothing fighter these days, he pushed Whyte well but that was years ago and Whyte is nothing but his replacement when he finally retires !

I agree with the calls for Hunter, maybe Hrgovic after fights Zhang bit a champion should be taking on up and coming fighters not past it gatekeepers who they already smacked around twice over
