Just seen a post from Newcastle fans tv on Facebook.
“Meanwhile, other clubs are getting beat off local non-league sides”
About hebburn beating our u23s.
That is up there with one of the oddest things I’ve ever seen from mags

If you must make a comparison, I'd like to compare how these sets of fans reacted to being taken over. Was there anything like the despicable scenes at St James's when man city or psg were taken over? You know ,grown men dressing up as Saudis, dressing their bairns up as Saudis, doing traditional saudi dances, having saudi picky teas, changing avatars to the saudi flag, saudi tatoos, fanzines making standard defend deflect statements for fans to use, fans harassing dead journalists fiancées and amnesty international, lasses turning to islam, musicians with a social consience giving up their social conscience to dance about with the saudis. Was there a man city/Qatari equivalence to this?
Don't forget that daft bint converting to Islam.

I fancy the mags to go down tbh I don’t see why people think they’ll break into the top 10 they have a large championship contingent in their squad

Let me know what odds you get with a cash out option. I don't think they will go down but the current odds will be high.

I think people think that because we finished 11th despite not winning a game until December. The team improved a lot over the second half of the season. 6th best in the league since Howe took over, 4th best in the league over the final 19 games.

I'm not saying that I definitely think we'll finish top half but that is probably why some people think Newcastle will finish top 10. Adding Botman and Pope improves competition in them positions, as well as Trippier going to play more than half a dozen games.
That's probably why people think top 10 is possible.

He's a question for you - has any team ever achieved top ten with 30% possession?

I honestly don't know the answer.

It's the truth, I'm afraid.

Just wondering what the context was for @jlaws question considering what the figures are.

You could probably look at Stoke/Bolton in their top half finishes but there wasn't the disparity and volume between the have/have nots in those days.

Well you can thank your lucky stars you don't have to.

Dunno. Doubtful like. Maybe Newcastle under Benitez would be somewhere near that figure. Wolves maybe.

Did Newcastle have 30%?
