No they're not. It's a game of football, same as it ever was. You're confusing and conflating my support of one thing, NUFC, for support of an entirely separate thing, the human rights record of Saudi Arabia. That's your issue, not mine

I don't condemn the investment in my football club. I condemn their human rights record. They aren't the same thing
Only in your head

I bet if I went back to before October 7th I'd not be able to find many If any posts about human rights issues in Saudi Arabia.

Had this been any other club or Sunderland themselves there would be little to nothing said about it on here.

As a fanbase we Newcastle fans should not defend the actions of the saudi government or MBS (which 99% don't anyway) while supporting our club, we as fans can do little else.

The simple fact is though you lot never cared about what goes on in Saudi before but you do now, simply because your rivals could be playing European football in a few years and are going to leave you even further in the dust than we already have, it's faux outrage to justify the fume.
Didn't know this complete dopey ballbag still posted on here

More bullshit. Donald Trump would be proud of your cognitive dissonance but you're wasting your time here. Every newcastle match is now a sportswashing exercise, whether you like it or not. And evidently you do.

The cognitive dissonance thing's another weird accusation. Because my actions regarding sports washing have been consistent throughout. I didn't protest Man City's owners by boycotting the Premier League or holding up signs when we played them. Nor did I boycott watching the Champions League due to PSG's owners.

I suppose every Sunderland fan on this thread who is up in arms over the Saudi takeover of Newcastle did though, otherwise they're showing a little hypocritical cognitive dissonance of their own, no?

You’ve not confronted one tea towel wearing flag waving apologist because they don’t exist apparently. Did you see the richest club in the world video ? I take it they were wind up Sunderland supporters ?
Saudi mudererers apologists
I didn't say they didn't exist, just that their numbers are greatly exaggerated. Stop stating lies about me please

Why do you keep bringing up City and PSG ? Does that make you more comfortable with your owners ?

Stop telling lies about your owner’s wanting what’s best for the club and the region rather than what’s best for washing their appalling image
They set a precedent. Seems fair to mention them in conjunction with sports washing
So it is sportswashing this ownership ?

They do want what's best for the club. It's their asset, why would they want it to fail? I've only mentioned the region as I was asked about it, still waiting to see what happens on that front
