I don’t think Almiron is surplus to requirements but his agent is angling him for a move. I’d love him to stay but if he wants to move to get more game time I respect that. I think most fans would feel the same. He’s a bit of a fan’s favourite precisely because of his work ethic.

How do you know the Saudis can’t get any worse ? So as long as they maintain their current level of child murder, individual slaughter of those who speak out, stoning gays and sponsoring terrorism like 9/11 then that’s ok. Out of interest how far would they have to go before you said enough of this ownership?

I know there were a lot of people there. I’ve seen the photos. The chronicle reported it as hundreds. But probably thousands yes. I wouldn’t say tens of thousands.

That’s by-the-by anyway. Most of them weren’t acting like pricks.
