Russia invading Ukraine (NEWS/UPDATES)

He will have his puppet dictator ready to go in just like in Belarus and flood the country with pro Russian separatists to occupy property vacated by fleeing Ukrainians

He could put a million people in there and it still won’t make a dent. Simple fact is he has no popular mandate for this and there will be hundreds of thousands of armed security forces still existing to continue the battle.

very few occupations are ever successful especially in those circumstances.

Is it really true about the Ukrainian pilot shooting down 6 Russian fighter jets? I've not seen it reported anywhere other than on here.

Mate, I think you're overlooking that there is a precedent for this. Russia has done this before very successfully. It became the USSR.

Not sure how we would get weapons in now? The Russians will be controlling the airspace. The second we land an aircraft in Ukraine it will be seen as direct involvement.

Polish border and transferred from there.

Russia May well try and monitor and track the convoys to hit them once in mainland Ukraine but even they aren’t mad enough to attack on the Polish border and risk NATO casualties

Very different World though mate. They have also tried it in other countries, as have the West, and all failed miserably. As someone said it’s not the 1950’s anymore

That all depends on Poland wanting to get involved though. Not that easy.

Feels like we are only a few steps away from

AND NOW WE ARE GOING TO LIVE TO UKRAINE WHERE THERE'S BEEN ANOTHER BOMB, BUT WHAT SIDE HAS IT FALLEN FOR THIS TIME 'CHARLIE'......
I’m 35 and it’s been like that most of my life.

Fox News coverage of Iraq was mental during the early days of the invasion.

Poland have a couple of air force bases near to the border, Lublin also has an airport and isn't too far from the Ukranian border.

Fly it into Krakow and then it's only 2 hours to the Ukrainian border.
I'm not sure it would be that straightforward. I would imagine you have to trained to operate it too. It might be possible to get some lighter stuff in, but they still lack personnel. They need anti missile and tank stuff to stop the pounding.

Russia have announced their first retaliatory sanction against the UK.

Banning planes either made or registered here, from their airspace.

I assume this is being done to make it harder for us to get weapons & ammo in there for the Ukrainians
