Never mind a manager Stavely should appoint a DoF sharpish to start making her look better. If she doesn’t then the Saudis will probably bin her off before the seasons out!

we might aswell enjoy this time though because in a few seasons time the money will begin to tell in the end and they’ll start seeing the benefits on the pitch which will paper over all the shite happening behind the scenes. Hopefully by then we have a bit more to shout about

And there it is folks “a sit up and take notice candidate” typical stance from the so called “journalists” in the region 🙄 how about less buttering up of the fans and their constant clamour for someone with a bit of glamour earned elsewhere and writing an article about the
best candidate for the job in hand ? Which is as far as I can see is someone capable of moving them out of the relegation zone of the premier league.

So you think they'll be throwing money around? Interesting. Let's wait and see. I think there's a high possibility they'll be in the championship and whilst they are no longer a member the other premier league clubs will vote on a strict change in spending making it almost impossible to reach the top 6 imo

I’ve just posted similar, the local mag writers need to concentrate less on the jam yesterday and tomorrow any future manager might bring and concentrate on finding someone who can bring the jam needed today which is winning a relegation battle.
 
The manager that does go to the Landfill has to be a big well-known name, someone with a history of working with primadonnas, he has to have no conscience, morals, he has to have a history of dodgy deals and be a money-grabbing but likeable rogue, he has to have a connection with the area and he has to have won something.

Tbh I think he would be a good choice. He did well for a while in the PL and let's be honest not many managers get to stick around for all that long anyway. He'll organise you lot, bag the necessary players in January to steady the ship and keep you up.

Not the champagne manager that the mags are craving, but they have to realise having money doesn't just flick the switch to attract the best, the club has to get it's shit together first and start looking like a serious project.
