You bring back memories of my Dad working on my kitchen, drinking a can of Punk after graft, announcing it "shite that tastes like perfume" then having 3 more cans of it.

Dunno , it was rank anyway , tasted a bit like a floral drain cleaner might ( can't be certain as I don't drink much floral drain cleaner ) .Mind I will confess I'm a session beer man , straight easy swallowing smooth bitter .

Stout means strong - it can be any style (although it went out of fashion for everything except porters).

Place in Leeds near train station had a lovely salted caramel Porter on when I was there in December. Was ideal drink sat outside with.

Aye, but that doesn't mean that a fairly tame guinness with smoothflow gas pumped into it is going to be anything like a craft marshmallow porter.

First weekend in July I’m back, Lost a bit of its fun a few years back when refurbed it. The street sitting is decent they’ve now in place.
Heading to springwell north brewing place for an afternoon on the slurp.

Had my first ever pint of Titanic Plum Porter in a pub near Leeds station which was a game changer. Probably the same place.
My bait just gonna be a few steamed buns
It just up road from friends of ham. Has a small roof terrace. I’ve been in few times but never got it’s name.
