Because he’s a local lad mate and our CB’s are iffy. We’ve got no decent young lads in that position and good CB’s are silly money. We were in for Diaz and Cancello and got priced out pal. We will definitely try and tie him down. It will be down to him.

Difficult to give any informed opinion over this as none of us have a clue what KLD's plans and ambitions are. From the sheer wealth and family success they have you would assume the ambition is high and they'll be splashing some cash. However, literally everything they say and hint at is we won't be splashing out and it's going to be really slow and gradual, like 5 - 10 years as we blood our youngsters and wait for our other young signings come to fruition. If the prior is true then there's a very high chance we get him, if it's the other then we have no chance. Nobody will know what it is until the summer.

HOWEVER, Streaky Lee has that nickname for a reason. I'd also say, with the best of intentions, to not get carried away.

Definitely not carried away. L1 sides, find form and lose it. There was a couple of Robins hopping on this board who seem slightly happy to visit fairly regularly when we had a dip or poor result to be honest. A few who were totally impartial. The impression I get is the majority think he did well enough, but a change was needed. You must ge happy to get Pearson after what was going on ?

If we go up and he's going on loan to the championship, it makes sense he'd come back. He's playing, enjoying it and doing well here. Everyone loves him and he's getting loads of attention. Wolves must be delighted how much he has progressed and how much his profile has risen.

If I was him, Id be thinking this is a better bet than going to play for Nigel Pearson who is a bit unhinged. Fuck that shit. Id be back to play in front of the biggest crowds in the Championship at Sunderland.
