think the point is being missed tbh

Grant obviously not as fast/strong as he used to be but plays with his head now

Steadying influence and gives us a solid base to work with from midfield

If AOB can find form in front of goal I reckon we could still win this league this season
If AOB gets dropped and we play 433 I reckon we could well win this league.

I dunno, he frustrates the hell out of them as they have everyone on Wyke and McGeady and tonight he got the goal - a huge one for him and you could see he was delighted. Same with Power, grafted all game and grabbed a deserved goal - total team performance, brilliant work LJ. I'd keep him in for now, or certainly the first 65 mins. He's one of our "options" and used well tonight.

Thought grant was really good tonight.retained possession well and was calm against a team set up to defend.

It's amazing what stringing three wins together can do. We're only six points away from second.

I mean, we'll probably fuck it up, but, we looked shite and heading for mid-table mediocrity a month ago and now, we've gone to being one of the form teams and being legitimately in the play off places.

You were never really out of it.

Football fans are mainly fannies. A couple of wins and everything is golden. A couple of defeats and the future is bleak. As we all know the truth is usually somewhere in the middle.

I commented, a couple of days back, on another thread that SAFC, at 18/1, were a massive price. Still get 14/1 now which i still feel is not a fair representation of your chances.

Team will falter as the season comes to a close. If you don't you will be thereabouts.

To be fair, we were comfortably out of the play offs with at least eight teams with a better PPG than us (Accrington and Donny had about 12 games in hand). Three wins and we're now legitimately fifth - something that looked light years away when we were getting played off the park by shite teams (like we have been for the previous seasons). We looked bloody hopeless a month or so ago.

easy to say that when playing against fleetwood who never had a shot all game and barely kept the ball. but too many games have passed him by. even as recently as shrewsbury and mk dons away, when we dont play well, leadbitter stands out.

like i say, its not that we played bad tonight, we dominated, but its foolish to think we have it cracked and shouldnt be seeking to improve every game, even after 3 wins in a row.

look for our weakness, improve the weakness, be better - continue the cycle forever until we win the champions league. dont relent. dont relax, dont think we the best we can be, strive to be better

theres better teams in this league than burton and fleetwood and we need to be able to dominate those teams aswel, if we are to make a success of going up
Since we got a manager instead of a sad impression of one, the good sides have not been a problem The crap teams have had years of practice at dragging us down. Fleetwood tried that tonight. They failed.

The one noticeable thing is that we're quite patient in our build up play. We don't give the ball away cheaply as in previous times. We retain possession well and if a forward pass isn't on, we pass sideways or back and start again which isn't a bad thing.

We stayed focus and kept probing and got our just rewards with the O'Brien goal. Under previous managers we would have got frustrated and end up conceding.

Defence looks good again and we now scoring good goals rather than the lucky ones at the end of Parkinson's reign. If you look at the form table i think there's only Peterborough better who are currenrly above us so if we can keep our condidence we have every chance.

Well done to the defenders for not conceding any shots on goal. They team look quite solid even with a few missing injured.

I wonder how the other teams’ squads will cope with 2 games per week until May.
