and schwarz is qualified for neither of them

Not a genius but history of being reasonably successful

since these idiots took over us most of staff have left the academy

no idea why we sacked McNamee for bain’s Mate
We need coaches to match the players. What I'm saying is this bloke could be brilliant but he's been at an unsussesful club for nearly a decade and a half. Surely if he was that good he'd have been head hunted before no?

According to The Times.

The 41-year-old has already said his farewells at Birmingham City, where he was in charge of their academy and oversaw the development of Jude Bellingham, who moved to Borussia Dortmund in July, as well as Premier League stars such as Nathan Redmond and Demarai Gray.

He will immediately take over the vacant role at Sunderland, with a remit to help find a new head of the academy and to restructure the decimated scouting system.

What about the lad choosing to stay at one club for personal/ family reasons?
If he were in a remote area i'd agree. However Villa in same city. Wolves and Leicester both improved massively recently too and not a snif from either. As always the new manager appointment will tell us all we need to know about where we're going.

I'd genuinelly be excited with this, I think its a good appointment, if not for the Jim Rodwell bit, it means the 3 jokers are still having a say

Remember Jim Rodwell is very good mates with Methven, he appointed him

Anything tained with these people I can't just trust

will take a lot of time before I can. sorry but thats jusy how I feel.

Speaks well, has a clear brief and seems happy to be here. Didn't mention Donald et al, just said ownership group
