Anything resembling a coherent plan has to be progress from where we are. And those who've been pleading for the younger lads to get their chance should be happy.

That will not please me, how many times? lLong term plans never work in football, at least not here. Too much pent up frustration here. Alan Brown’s forst time brouhht on some kids but he had to make good signings to getit to work and it took six years, then collapsed because he left and the team were too short for the next level.

I think this might be too little, too late as we have already lost at least 20 young prospects (by my calculation) since 2018. Just out of interest. How old does a player need to be before he is considered "old enough for the 1st team" in your opinon?
