I don’t know mate, but he and another person interviewed Cowley on Monday or Tuesday.

The Poyet debacle was Tuesday wasn't it? Seems strange they'd be interviewing someone else if he was nailed on before that point. Something doesn't stack up, maybe the Poyet info was duff or leaked on purpose to see where the info is getting out from?

I wonder if the bloke from Brum hasn't been officially announced as things are still fluid, ie: If we decide on Cowleys and they don't want anyone above them he may stay in his old job? Wouldn't line up with him interviewing people like.

Nothing, just heard at the start of the weekend they wanted someone for the weekend.
Cheers marra, would be good to get it sorted and get started.
Wigan bottom of the league and playing loads of kids but unless we pick up from the other night I wouldn’t rule out an away win

Plus Demarai Gray, Jack Butland, Nathan Redmond, Che Adams, and another dozen or so making the Brum first team.

Plus SpD, if poss.

Yea......we still produced £55m on Bridges, Henderson and Pickford despite also being shoite......

Technical director and director of football are two completely different roles

and schwarz is qualified for neither of them
You started on a positive but the bold bitg is concerning

As has been posted recently they did but don't now. I was trying to state that theres more than Birmingham has player rise up to prem in the past. Poeple going on like this fella is a youth genius when they didn;t know him from adam earlier today.

Not a genius but history of being reasonably successful

since these idiots took over us most of staff have left the academy

no idea why we sacked McNamee for bain’s Mate

Christ, what are we gonna talk about when it's all actually done and finalised ? 😦

Oh aye... 'football' 😊

Is it? Boro’s academy was once brilliant. These days it’s probably on par with what we have. Who was the last genuinely brilliant footballer to come from Boro? I’m quite close to Boro’s Academy through my son and it’s not what it once was. I’m not saying it’s bad because it’s not but it’s certainly not what it was and they have lost a number of coaches and directors from the Academy the same as we have

they produce a hell of a lot more pro footballers than Sunderland like.
