Polling has been steady and I was pleasantly surprised to see the public prefer a distant Christmas and shutdown over January. A few weeks is a long time though. In 3 weeks time deaths will be well below the current levels, and cases are on a downward trend, conducting the poll when deaths could be 150 a day compared to 450 may change opinion. I just sense so many will flout it regardless, many may not want too but will feel pressured into it by family etc.

I can't understand people getting there knickers in a twist about leaks when they have been part of the game since year dot. I'd Saturday night was the prime time for leaks if you look back through the whole of this shit show
 
Mint, doesn't make any difference to me in the slightest.
I need a vaccine, once that happens I can relax instead of being a paranoid wreck.

And chef and babysitter. You're going to have to get her to do all the chores too so it's more convincing.
 
We were always going to go back to to 3 tiers and this is just tinkering with them but as we know there will be a relaxation for families meeting over Xmas.

The extended 1 hour drinking up time for pubs is sensible as, if the pubs obey the 10 pm last orders it stops everyone piling out at the same time.

The big question is do all areas start out at tier 1 again.

More rules just means more confusion. I spent 4 out of 6 weeks in isolation prior to this lockdown now in all probably it looks like it will be extended here in the North East.
People, not me, are blatantly flouting the recommendations for example I drove past Chester Park yesterday and it was heaving. The skatepark area had over 100 kids in easily flying about past each other.
