Went in one saturday night not long after it opened , big crowd of pissed ,obnoxious ten bob millionaires types on the high table in the middle , who got progressively louder the later it went on.

Never been back.

Shame. Its a cracking place.

Is that the only place they gan like?

Perhaps they've been there when I've been, but dunno what they look like (and I was always too busy enjoying the nice food and wine).
I dunno

Someone else seemed to think it was a bit shit. I was only asking for your opinion of the place
This fcking forum man!!
😜

because most decent restaurants have pro chefs that can churn out bait that is unrepeatable by most people at home. This new place is a savoury version of that cereal cafe!
So you only ever eat in restaurants where the bait is unrepeatable by anyone at home, so you’ve never had steak, pasta, pizza, Sunday roast etc in a restaurant?

Are you and Moo having a competition to see who can put the most words into someone else’s mouth?

Bad examples there like. Most people can’t knock up good quality pizza or restaurant quality pasta at home, quickly. Same with steaks, it’s not hard to cook one but most people can’t mimic miller and carter. Sunday dinners are the one thing where I’d say a decent % of people can do better than a carvery. If you want to pay a massive markup for someone to arrange pre prepared ham and cheese for you that’s up to you. I wish them well but I genuinely don’t see the value add, just my opinion but I think it’s a gimmick.

£30 ??? (or 30.0 these days) add £67 for a bottle of Moet and that's pretty poor for £100 (not sure I would pay for normal Moet with a plate of cheap nibbles either) All looks very Lidl...Where are the 'Local' Artisan breads and 'Local' cheeses from?

Aren’t these places as much to do with the wine they serve as they are the food? Aren’t They modern versions of trendy wine bars more for socialising than having a full meal?

I would presume / hope that the cheeses and meats are a bit higher quality than what you could get in your local supermarket.
