screwfix no nonsense decking oil

Done mine with that exact colour last year, the cuprinol slate. It isnt flaking off but is starting to slightly wear off in places of high footfall. Which i would expect with any paint on wood.
Aye, I can see it being a yearly maintenance job.

Can’t even get the fucker anywhere after all that saying not available

There is one in Roker if that's any good. I've just reserved two to be sent to Durham store for collection tomorrow.
Works out at £26 with the vat, for 5l. Also do oak and red cedar.

Better than the screwfix stuff mate....

Buy quality stuff once and it lasts, buy shite stuff and you spend more in the long run, simple math
The price doesn't always reflect the quality ,like i said it has really good reviews ts probably exactly the same just not got a fancy marketing campaign or packaging and its a 40m2 deck so it would cost a fortune with the "brands"

How many 5ltr tins were you going to get for 40m2?
I would say you need 1.5, so you would need to buy 2, so £40 at screwfix.
The link I posted above for the liberon oil would cost £52 for x2 5ltr tins, so an extra £12.
Honestly, it's well worth the extra £12 mate. I'm speaking as someone who has used both.
Believe me, they are not the same.

You can spray or brush it on.
I used the clear on mine, though it's not really "clear". It brings out the natural colour of the wood, but darkens it a bit.....a bit like how it would look after it's been raining.
I have a half tin of teak, I used it to restore a large garden table and 6 recliner chairs. It's like a reddish brown, but not the orange colour you mean.
There is a medium oak colour as well, but I've never used that.
Have a look on youtube....should give you a better idea of the colours.

Your correct the price does not always effect the quality but 99 tones out of 100 it does, 1st thing my old granma told me was if your going to buy it you only want to but it once.

Problem is, brands started to abuse this "fact" about 10 years ago. Now you cannot judge a product by its price at all.

Im on screwfix now reading the reviews of the erbauer sprayer......looks promising.
And one in stock at my local branch......
Is a fella on there saying he used it to donut and was spot on think ya juts have to make sure you don’t leave any excess product on the wood as it goes tacky so best to wipe with a lint free cloth after 15-30 mins to get trig of xs

Some brands are even exactly the same just in different cheaper packaging to save money hence why they are cheaper

Ordered one.

Got a raised deck at home which is about 12m x 3m, with x6, 6ft wide steps leading down to the garden. The vertical drop either side of the steps is also filled in, so probably about 45m2 to do. This will be oiled.
Add to that around 60m of fence, both sides, in fence paint.
X1 small tool shed oiled, x1 6x8 shed cuprinol shades.
Plus the decking around the caravan, and the skirting underneath, it will be a godsend.
