did you paint it ontop of previously oiled decking tho you cant change once you have committed id never paint a deck its always prone to flake and come away
thats why you oil it and not paint it paint just sits on the surface can crack and flake oil obviously penetrates the woodIt was new decking. Since then I've sanded it back to bare wood and used cuprinol and it hasn't chipped yet. Pay the extra as it's absolute garbage
Says at the bottom of the bottleyou can get oak pine clear and another one no colour on tin or chart tho

can look really good and modern when you plant it up with bamboo with pebbles no bannister etc
rats are everywhere a bit of decking isnt going to make a difference
Ya haven’t used the oil to judge it mateIt had wood preserver down before paint. The cuprinol didn't chip after weeks. Buy the shit oil if you want!
Obviously I can see that but what colour is oak because it varies massively from brand to brand I hate that orange ginger colourSays at the bottom of the bottle

Buy cheap buy twiceI bought it on the strength of the reviews, but I honestly thought it was shite.
I went back to the Liberon clear again, twice the price, but lasts twice as long.
On hms victoryim old enough to remember when decking was in fashion
It’s a completely different productThe brand is shite. You've asked for advice and then ignored it all. Just buy it then
aye until its starts flakingI used the clear stuff when we got our decking. Jet washed the decking a few weeks ago and painted it Cuprinol urban slate. Looks loads better.

I’ve been walking all over it and no flaking. Jet washed it within an inch of its life before painting it like.aye until its starts flaking
Same as what I used. Worth the extra it costsI’ve been walking all over it and no flaking. Jet washed it within an inch of its life before painting it like.
Done mine with that exact colour last year, the cuprinol slate. It isnt flaking off but is starting to slightly wear off in places of high footfall. Which i would expect with any paint on wood.I used the clear stuff when we got our decking. Jet washed the decking a few weeks ago and painted it Cuprinol urban slate. Looks loads better.
