screwfix no nonsense decking oil

Whatever happens dont post on here which way up your decking boards are, there will be hell on.
using treated unbanded scaffolding boards
I bought it on the strength of the reviews, but I honestly thought it was shite.
I went back to the Liberon clear again, twice the price, but lasts twice as long.
its 40m2 deck like so trying to keep maintenance costs down

It'll be just oil, with no colour added. It'll bring out the colour of your wood, not add something else.

Have not regretted getting mine laid flat-side-up. I do regret the morons putting a 4mm gap between them, before the wood had dried out - its not about 10mm and I'm going to have to take the lot up and relay it. Its f***ing massive. Bugger.

If it's anything like their decking paint don't get it. It chipped off after a week. That also had good reviews
did you paint it ontop of previously oiled decking tho you cant change once you have committed id never paint a deck its always prone to flake and come away

I've been wondering if you can paint, then seal it with a waterproofer. I've painted it on my fence panels, its its amazing how waterproof they are, water just beads off - apparently lasts 10 years. Not cheap, but if you do it once and then never again, it'll be worth it easily
