Wreckless people during lockdown

The more I think of it the more I honestly can't believe people supposed to protect the country are happily getting pissed, spreading the virus in pubs then turning up the next day like some hero to try and save lives. So sad for the victims of this selfish act 😭😭

Seen 6 lads on their bikes yesterday, about 14yr old, just going about their stuff as tho nothing was wrong.

Someone who works on the frontline getting pissed in the pub less than a week ago and proudly posting pics of their pint on the SMB.

Lad I know going to work daily and wondering what all the fuss is about.
Eric?

Id prefer a battle of wits but you appear to be unarmed.

Three window cleaners standing in a punter's garden opposite mine earlier today having a gab. No distancing, leaning all over the couple's front gate.
Last week saw a widow cleaner knocking on a customers door, owld biddy answered and they exchange money. f***ing mental.

Wish my builders would carry on. They were half way through laying bricks. The extension is 4m wide so could easily have met the distance requirements. Downed tools on day 1.
The dog is not happy either as there is building paraphernalia all over his garden!

A bloke at work has not altered his lifestyle one bit. He did a fiddle job on a farm last Wednesday night. The next night the farmer called and told him that he and all his family were showing symptoms. (turns out they have it). The bloke came in as normal on the Friday morning. He let it slip in a casual conversation and was sent home under protest by management shortly after. He is raging, calling everyone snowflakes

What people generally forget is that as a species we are very selfish. The vast majority of us are selfish and do what is our own best interests.

Young kids will mostly be unaffected by this and don't give a thought for others at the best of times, just like the older generation don't really care about the future of the next generation or the legacy they leave.

Popped over to check on my elderly neighbour yesterday because he wasn't answering the phone and the curtains had been closed all day.
I was starting to get worried when he appeared in his sons car. The bloke is 70odd and his son thought nothing of bringing him over to their house because it was the grandsons 3rd birthday.

All he could talk about (from a safe distance) was how great it was that the "whole family" managed to get together in these awkward times. I kind of get that the old feller might possibly not have wanted to say no to his son and let everyone down, but the fact that there was a party at all, with elderly guests is mindblowing.

The party of the current government has spent the last ten years telling the public we shouldn't listen to experts and generally whipping up negative sentiment toward scientists/academics.

Is it any suprise that there are now a large number of people who are unwilling to listen, confused by the advice, and unable/unwilling to articulate to their kids why the advice must be followed?

Confused advice!!

Whether they has been mixed messages in the past,is for debate.

The advice is clear as day now, stop making excuses for people, what people have been told in the last 10 years is irrevlant to now.

OP is a very sad (and single) man.

Also as thick as a whale omelette. Wreckless ffs
Think he got the definition right under the law six lads from different household have the potential to go home and pass the virus on to there family who then go out for essential items and infect others. Its not rocket science the measures have been brought in for a reason I sincerely hope none of your love ones die from this virus. In nutshell these lad were wreckless

My dad's an intelligent bloke & in that age group but he just doesn't get this. He was still expecting us all round to his for Sunday dinner & I'd be amazed if he hasn't been round to see his "lady friend".

Theres still plenty cars coming and parking up down the beach every day
Serious question, is that not allowed or is it just something you think is wrong? I get it the more people that congregate the worse it’ll be, but if you park up safely & don’t interact with anyone else, is it bad? We’ve just been round the park most days, but it’s be good to get the bairns out somewhere different, as long as it wasn’t putting anyone in danger.
