I agree with this. Some of the earlier posts are way over the top. His heart was in the right place but he thought he could run a massive club like a Conference team and has made massive mistakes on the football side. His recruitment and the recruitment of those he appointed has been abysmal.I like stewart, i wasnt sure at first but i came round and i still think he wants the best for us but what we are witnessing here lays firmly at his door. Parkinson was a shocking appointment, i knew it before he was given the job, i still know it. Any fan of any football club with any amount of football knowledge would have said it too but despite knowing that 90% of safc fans didnt want him, he gave parkinson the job anyway. Whatever the reasons were i dont know for certain but we all have an idea.
If you have serious ambitions of getting any club back into the premier league it starts with investment and that has to start at the top, the manager. If you hire a shite manager who probably was the cheapest option, please nobody tell me that our club has ambition, it clearly doesnt.
