I like stewart, i wasnt sure at first but i came round and i still think he wants the best for us but what we are witnessing here lays firmly at his door. Parkinson was a shocking appointment, i knew it before he was given the job, i still know it. Any fan of any football club with any amount of football knowledge would have said it too but despite knowing that 90% of safc fans didnt want him, he gave parkinson the job anyway. Whatever the reasons were i dont know for certain but we all have an idea.

If you have serious ambitions of getting any club back into the premier league it starts with investment and that has to start at the top, the manager. If you hire a shite manager who probably was the cheapest option, please nobody tell me that our club has ambition, it clearly doesnt.
I agree with this. Some of the earlier posts are way over the top. His heart was in the right place but he thought he could run a massive club like a Conference team and has made massive mistakes on the football side. His recruitment and the recruitment of those he appointed has been abysmal.

I really dont want it to get abusive towards them but I was always worried about his time at Eastleigh. Threw money at it and failed. Bad appointments all the while.

He's done so much right off the pitch but ultimately it's the football that matters and he is making an absolute dogs dinner of it.
What has he done thats right off the pitch?

Hes run the club into the ground, Academy is shot to bits, under 23s etc. look like the first team only worse. We are using money from the Dells to fix a lift for fucks sake. All of these wonderful cuts have done is establish us as a mediocre league one club. Thats not good how it could be seen as good is beyond my comprehension.

A lot less than he will want unfortunately.

Go back to the picture/video of him looking out over emptybeembley after the play off final. He knew then he had missed his chance to get a big pay day.
Yep and cm stormed off in a huff , yet they plead to us parasites there not here for a quick buck

I reckon he was planning on still being owner of the club still. Just why are we proving so difficult to sell?

People in this thread are acting like he's a moustache twiddling, Dick Dastardly type villain. Do you think it was his plan to have this wobble?

Cant he just be a bit of an optimistic loser? I dont think they're trying to con us. They're just inept.

This. Doesn't make it any easier to swallow though

Just a warning, it looks like saying you dislike the bloke will land you in hot water on here.

I got a ban the other week for questioning finances, so it’s best to stay away from the topic and to be fair I don’t blame Roger & co for wanting to keep clear of that....could turn very messy very quickly.

Nothing wrong in stating facts though. The biggest one being the whole club has gone backwards since they came in

Imagine calling people who failed at Eastleigh and/or Oxford - who got the club for virtually fuck all - lying about how much the paid for it from day 1 the “saviours”. People thanked them for “saving the club”. Fuck me!

The one and only positive thing he had was his transparency.

Now thats fucked off we literally just have a tinpot Ellis Short, one with not a pot to piss in.

What the f*** has he done right off the pitch ?

False promises a bad appointment of manager little change apart from the seats that the fans done anyway get out sell up

I feel sorry for Parkinson, but they must be daft if they thought he was the right man. The fans were already in a slump, they appointed the least expensive option.

As with the signings. Expecting miracles from free transfer shite and expecting dropped players elsewhere to suddenly find their magic.i don’t care what anyone says he saw Maja leaving as a chance to make a million quid thinking he could outsmart people. That move said it all for me.

Banked on us going up last season and failed.

yep. This is true more than any of you lot know. And they did worse with Cattermole and Oviedo in the summer. if they’re still in control of this football club this time next year and we’re in League 1, we’ll be in a relegation battle. The cuts we’d make would make the summer gone look good..
