Lowest point in our history

I think the team is well capable of getting out of this league and flourishing, but if you appoint a useless manager you get what you deserve
Not for me.

Weve downgraded in each of the transfer windows since they’ve been here.

Losing Josh Maja last January and then both Cattermole and Honeyman in the summer is gross mismanagement.

Their replacements (or lack of) have fucked us.

Should have sold to the germans
72/73 season was lowest point and ended up our highest point.Dont think that is on the cards these dark days like.We could be fucked actually.

No, not on the cards.

It's not SD's fault that we win 5-0 one week. Beat two Prem teams in a cup. Only to fuck it all up like we did today.
It's the players!
When the vast majority of the players were signed by personnel that Donald put in place - to a strategy that Donald defined and a budget that Donald set - it f***ing well is his fault. The utter malaise of Safc right now is Donald’s doing. Yea we were a shell of a club when we were relegated to league one. However he’s built a us back up incredibly poorly. There’s little sign that they can even recognise this never mind take the necessary actions to correct it. Based on what we’ve seen to date, promotion under the Donald regime looks utterly impossible.

The appointment of Parkinson summed it up for me. Nothing against the bloke but that really set it in that we're just a League One club hoping to get promotion. Rather than a higher division club trying to get back up.

I had a lot of sympathy for Donald and co in the first year, but the second has been an abject failure across the board. Dire.
Nail hit firmly on the head. Never liked CM whereas SDs fall from grace has been gigantic. Sad thing is, I think we are stuck with them. Small attendances are not good for the club in many ways but at least it’s not lining their pockets.
I have had enough of those 2 in charge. They saw us a quick money making machine but that all hinged on us getting promoted. They have royally f@&£ed that up. I have no idea and I’m sure they don’t either of the way forward.

Got to wonder why we played at lunch time... Saving on the leccy bill for the lights? Faults everywhere top to bottom in the club
Nobody in playing coaching management immune from blame... The decline we're in is getting steeper

Lunch time?

I second that.

As you say it’s the lowest point it’s not the time the Chairman should go into hiding, yes stop on social media and pick and choose what you attend but having nothing from him is extremely worrying after having so much.

Yes there has been threats but there were threats last season also and he remained in the public eye get the police to deal with it and if he needs to get some security but don’t disappear.

Ok earlier kick off.. This time of year the earlier you play less need for flood lighting... Don't think our owners have gone thunberg on this
It was because Newcastle were at home also and that fixture was given priority.

This is horrendous. Always thought how lucky we were to support a side competing in the premier league with a big fan base too. Now we are in league 1 which was unimaginable to me, can’t imagine it’s doing anything to encourage the next generation to come and support us, see more Man City shirts kicking around every day.

This is the biggest concern as the club is list to the next generation.

the collapse of the fan base is the erosion of the last and the strongest pillar of this once imposing edifice.

If the fans cannot galvanise their support soon I fear the rout of the club.

Fighting to stay in Championship under Coleman seems an eternity away...ffs look at Preston 2nd under Alex Neil

It is looking more and more like they gambled on making a quick buck by hoping we had enough in the squad to get promotion at the first time of asking, and then they could sell us for a profit.

I haven't really been critical of them before but there really seems to be no long term thinking involved. The first year was always going to be difficult, despite what people might think, but last summer was a disaster. When we should have been adding good young players that can grow with us, we signed more plodders that will need to be moved on should we have stumbled to promotion.

That for me today is the lowest point in our history. An FA cup game at home watched by under 8,000 people, another desperate performance , two wins in seven for our new manager and a goalkeeper who had to act as a ball boy. And people think Donald is doing a good job?? We are turning into Eastleigh at an alarming speed. The rot in league 1 has now set in and we now look like a mid table league 1 team and I wouldn’t rule out it getting worse and us getting dragged down into the lower end of the table. Where’s the f***ing owner? He’s gone from podcasts and drinking with fans every week to cancelling talk ins and going into hiding. It’s time he faced the music. Get us out of this mess in Jan or get out of the club. And to think some people are still taken in by Charlie Methven trying to put a positive spin on everything. Things are terrible from top to bottom at the club. There is no dressing it up.
Worst point in our history so far
