Is there any point really any more? You can barely do 100 meters without hitting a set of lights or roundabout. Motorways have cops and cameras all over.

This, apart from a few interesting country windy bits on summer, sunny days I've enjoyed, driving is mostly a chore. I try to spend as little on it as possible.

They are though.

The M sport models only have an M badge on the side.

The only models which have an M on the back are the M140, M2, M3 M4 and M5. Anything else and someone has stuck an M badge on it themselves.
Do they? Pretty sure they took the badges off the back of mine

What does it really matter. I’ve been driving a Vauxhall Corsa for the last 10 years and I’m happy with it. I’ve recently come into some money and I thinking about buying a new car something I will keep for awhile. I’m thinking about either a golf GTi or a mini cooper S. I don’t really care about what people think it’s something personal decision

Good for you, just don't stick an M badge on it hoping people think it's better than what it really is ;)

Mine has the M badge on. It’s official name is an M140i.

I’ve seen loads of chippy M badges that have been put on msport cars and they look shite. Any msport badges fitted from the factory on msport models are on the front wing only.

Can't say I've known anyone to do this unless it was an M sport and it was already on the car.

Is there an option or model for working indicators?

There's a deeper psychological reason for this imo. I suspect that indicating is seen as a sign of weakness and a true Bavarian gladiator won't want to give his (it is such a man's car) adversary any advantage in the arms race that car ownership has become.

I've just changed from a bmw with m badges to a golf gti and it's the best all round car I've ever had

Nice motor I was going to get the m140i but I have to run it daily and couldn't justify the mpg

Suppose you just need a nice comfy car because you do 30,000 miles a year? Are you a twat for not picking a Focus?

I got one of the last ones in the country, had to go down to Sheffield for it.

It’s my daily commute(16 mile round trip), spending about 20 quid a week on fuel and that’s with a trip to Sainsbury’s and the golf club so it isn’t too bad.

Great engine and gearbox.
