just mental. I can possibly justify someone just snapping and lashing out resulting in one individual going over the top but if those reports are anywhere near the truth then he's clearly been waiting for his chance.
 
I have a 6 year old boy, and I cannot imagine what the family are going through, something like that would set me off like a time bomb if it happened to any of my boys, I really hope the boy and the family are ok and it all turns out as well as it can for them, as for the 17 year old I hope they hammer him for the rest of his life, I’m all for 2nd chances but not once anyone does anything like this, that’s your chances gone
 
BBC news have just shown the platform. The front platform is a straight drop from tenth floor to ground but around the corner and on the side of the extension to the gallery the platform is above the roof of the gallery which is five floors down. It appears "lucky" that the pusher opted to use the side platform rather than the front platform.

Yup I've just been looking at it, sadly due to this they may need to have a rethink on the open railings.

I’m somewhat surprised no one here has been here giving it the “thoughts with the lad who did it as he was clearly suffering from mental health issues”

It's a diffulicult one tbh.Threads get derailed all the time by a combination of people making it all about them,others responding to this by piss taking,then you have a full on brawl with bannings and the OP being lost.

In this case is it about a canny tragic event so perhaps some moderating was required.

The comment was silly and subsequent piss taking was funny mind

I was talking in general about how threads get derailed.

In this case you made a daft comment that was mocked and imo it's a message board so expect piss taking.This lead to the thread being derailed.

Perhaps this wasnt the topic to do it on.

Not a chance in that I don’t think, if he suffers mental health problems then the people who are responsible for him need a word in there ears aswell, what mental health problem has he got as I have not read much into it as it just pisses me off and makes me feel down when I read about shit shows like this

Absolutely horrible read that.

Nothing lucky about what happened to the poor kid, but the slope of the building might have stopped the fall from being worse.

Fingers crossed he pulls through.

Exactly what I thought looking at those pictures. Hope the bairn gets through without any life changing injuries.
