What's a single keg system ?I'm trying to find the paper I was referencing. Heineken can only do it as they can use a single keg system.
I ask that as a former bar manager.

Dedicated lines I think. I'm still looking for that paper - it was cited as the major hurdle in getting N/A beers on draught. What's a single keg system ?

The only reason I ask is my uncle reckoned when he's travelled to the States he's seen non alcoholic ale etc on draught in bars and wondered why it's not seen here..All in bottles or cans, other than Heineken. They need dedicated lines as there's a risk of contamination (I've tried to find an article about it - give me a couple of hours), so only the big brewers can afford to do it.
Some decent UK ones
To drink. Not to be drunk. | Big Drop Brewing Co

Never thought of thatHeineken 0% is the only one I'll drink. Not too bad on its own if you're driving but very palatable if mixed half n half with a nice beer.
Any beer that has its own custom tap is dedicated though . You don't connect fosters to a strongbow tap.Dedicated lines I think. I'm still looking for that paper - it was cited as the major hurdle in getting N/A beers on draught.
Load of shite ... like licking your sister out... tastes the same but it's just not right!!!
Never touched them since they served Kaliber on the rigs with Christmas dinner.Used to do them at work for the placebo effect. They taste all right but metaphorically always seems like ashes in my mouth.
I’d imagine the profit margin being a lot lower is the major hurdle.Dedicated lines I think. I'm still looking for that paper - it was cited as the major hurdle in getting N/A beers on draught.
Best one by a long shot.Another vote for Nanny State here.
Interestingly, I found that alcohol free beers have the same physiological impact on me as those with alcohol - i.e. raise my resting heart rate by a couple of beats.
There's definitely extra expense in removing the alcohol. It's a big taskI’d imagine the profit margin being a lot lower is the major hurdle.
Brewdog usually have a none alcoholic beer on tap over here.

The Heineken one is the only decent one I've tried.
Tried the Sol one a few weeks back and tasted like sewage water.
That’s not how they do anymoreThere's definitely extra expense in removing the alcohol. It's a big task
