Alcohol free beer

All in bottles or cans, other than Heineken. They need dedicated lines as there's a risk of contamination (I've tried to find an article about it - give me a couple of hours), so only the big brewers can afford to do it.

The only reason I ask is my uncle reckoned when he's travelled to the States he's seen non alcoholic ale etc on draught in bars and wondered why it's not seen here..

Alcohol free beers all have a perceptible metallic taste. Minging.

Rather have pop or juice or something if I’m not drinking.

Rather not go to the pub at all if I’m not drinking. It’s too depressing

Another vote for Nanny State here.

Interestingly, I found that alcohol free beers have the same physiological impact on me as those with alcohol - i.e. raise my resting heart rate by a couple of beats.
