There’s a difference between ‘fans’ and ‘supporters.’ Fans are people who are defined by “liking” a club, they don’t necessarily go to games and/or pay to watch, anyway. Whereas ‘supporters’ take it further and “support” the club financially. I’m a ‘supporter,’ I have a season ticket and have had a season ticket for years. I spend money to go and watch and ‘support’ the team when they play away from home etc. And, I’ve had more than enough of ‘supporting’ this shit, for this season. I also couldn’t care less what your opinion is.
There is no difference between a fan and supporter whatsoever. You're just trying to justify your extreme commitment to a specific form of entertainment, however, the hard truth is that you are no more special than the person who sits at home watching football on the telly every weekend (their subscription cost won't be much different to your ticket money anyhow)
What's next? Is your dad bigger than my dad?
