All I hope is whoever turns up gives the Lads a 100% and in turn lets hope the players give us something to get excited about...

Fuck the haters...I'm Sunlund till I die..

Which is why we struggled to beat a total basket case of a club like Bradford without a gift from the ref with our highest attendance, and why we battered Barnsley, who weren't far off winning the league, with our 2nd lowest attendance of the season.
But despite the numbers against Bradford, the vocal support was just not there.. Quality over quantity everytime..

Negativity and anxiety transmits from animal to animal and human to human- it totally effects players or they’d be robots

Not fishing at all. Just want people to show up and get behind the team . I'm on the end of a fishing line trying to justify gates sometimes if someone rubbishes our support, so lets not give them an opportunity. If fans have been all season, why not for this , the biggest game.

Fucker is gonna be on national TV, with thousands of empty seats for the biggest match of the season.....How to show the rest of the country and potential investors that Sunderland are back eh? Social media getting switched off for sure, we are rightly going to be in for a hammering off the Mags.

Each to their own like but its been shocking

Get to the match and help get us out of the division then, that way you can watch better football next season.

What if you can't go because other plans were already made that can't be changed?
Excused ;)

There’s a difference between ‘fans’ and ‘supporters.’ Fans are people who are defined by “liking” a club, they don’t necessarily go to games and/or pay to watch, anyway. Whereas ‘supporters’ take it further and “support” the club financially. I’m a ‘supporter,’ I have a season ticket and have had a season ticket for years. I spend money to go and watch and ‘support’ the team when they play away from home etc. And, I’ve had more than enough of ‘supporting’ this shit, for this season. I also couldn’t care less what your opinion is.
Ffs man, support like you've done all season and put your toys back in yer pram whilst yer on

My own thought process on this is simple.. I had a season ticket this season with the bairn.. Supported the lads in League one hoping they would be promoted automatically.. We fell short it doesn't mean that's the end.. I bought our tickets on Sunday and will be there supporting the lads in what will be their biggest game of the season now.. I couldn't support them all season then say " I'm not going to the playoffs" The lads need every single one of us to get behind them for these crucial games.. But even if we don't go up this season I will have supported them the whole season because I'm Sunderland till I die!!
We got our club and identity back this season thanks to new ownership and they deserve my backing... This is our club we shouldn't just support it when we feel like it.. Are we the best fans in the land?? Let's prove we are.

Bigger crowds mean nothing at Sunderland these days. We had 40k on Boxing Day and couldn’t beat Bradford.

I’m going, dragging the kids along and expecting 30k to turn up. Let’s see which Sunderland team turns up.

Exactly mate I been in 11k crowds of hard core fans at Roker Park during tough times and the atmosphere has been electric numbers mean naff all
we need the backing vocally of the fans there regardless of the amount
They get 52k in Sid James but it’s like a morgue most of the time KTF

I presume you know which incident I'm talking about. Even the SAFC twitter account took the piss out of the decision.

If the crowd will win us the game on sat we might as well rest all our best players until the final and just shout really loud instead.
So you're making this refereeing howler up then to suit an agenda. Thanks for clearing that up.

It looked in live so don't blame a jokey twitter account making fun of it. Doesn't mean it went in. It didn't.
