Crowd for sat

Bigger crowds mean nothing at Sunderland these days. We had 40k on Boxing Day and couldn’t beat Bradford.

I’m going, dragging the kids along and expecting 30k to turn up. Let’s see which Sunderland team turns up.

Which is why we struggled to beat a total basket case of a club like Bradford without a gift from the ref with our highest attendance, and why we battered Barnsley, who weren't far off winning the league, with our 2nd lowest attendance of the season.
What is this refereeing gift you have mentioned twice? Bearing in mind no evidence the ball crossed the line for their effort, indeed analysis showed it probably didn't.

If you can go on Saturday and choose not to you’re a bell end and should no longer be made welcome at a Sunderland game

No excuses at all. Pathetic support.

If the mags can come in their droves but you can’t, that technically makes mags better supporters of the club than you.

It's not bollocks at all. I've been in the position where I couldn't afford it. Just count yourself lucky you can.

I agree with you on this one. For adults just buying their own ticket it is just £20, but when taking kids it makes it a bigger wedge to have to pull out. Additionally they'll have had season card payments coming out (unless paid in full). Plus they'll know that, if we win, the kids will obviously be desperate to go to Wembley, that will be another big chunk of money, especially if staying over. Some will also be saving for summer holidays about now having probably thought the season would be finished. I never know what percentage of people would be in this group, so can't say I'm convinced it accounts for all that many of the fans who haven't yet purchased but you're right when you say its not an insignificant amount and that some will just be prioritising

I presume you know which incident I'm talking about. Even the SAFC twitter account took the piss out of the decision.

If the crowd will win us the game on sat we might as well rest all our best players until the final and just shout really loud instead.

I know of a few lads at work that scrambled for cup final tickets, not been to a game in years and cannot be arsed to go the 4 mile to the sol, but will travel hundreds of miles and spend a fortune on one game, makes no sense

Piss up mate. A lot of them are henpecked to fuck and it gives them the opportunity to get out. Hence why so many of them go on like twats

Stop fecking bitching with each other and get yer arses to the match - your club needs you! I cant go, like, but I promise to return for the final.

Put the f***ing rod down

Not fishing at all. Just want people to show up and get behind the team . I'm on the end of a fishing line trying to justify gates sometimes if someone rubbishes our support, so lets not give them an opportunity. If fans have been all season, why not for this , the biggest game.
