Hello mate... I’ve released an album this week too. It would be good if you were to review it.

I’ve been working on it for about two year (not full time obviously) but I’ve done it all myself. Wrote it, played all the instruments, recorded it and produced it... all from my spare room.

It’s on all streaming sites and iTunes:

Got through 8 of the 10 before getting pulled away from my desk. I enjoyed it – generally laid back, but with some decent upticks where needed and some passion. Better than Aldous Harding! ;) You need a (incredible, made up) bio and artist shot on Spotify though.

Curious, how easy did you find it to get things put up for streaming? Been meaning to look into it for my old band, as much as anything as a kick for our old singer

Thanks mate! Yeah pretty simple, there are services online who you pay a couple of quid a month to and they put it on all sites for you. Just google them mate. Let me know when you do and i’ll download them.

Have to say, I must be the only person on here not "getting" Aldous Harding. I really wanted to turn it off about 4 or 5 in, but I stuck it out to the end, thinking something was bound to happen. Hated it. Quite a surprisingly visceral reaction to something that, on the face of it to me, sounded so low-key, dull, and single-speeded (that single speed being very slow), yet made me want to punch someone for listening to it.

Nope, I'm with you on this one. One of my friend's insists that I have to give it more listens, but no, it's not my cup of tea.

Listening to it now and I am really enjoying so far. I love the mood of the album.

I've downloaded the album and will be giving it another listening this evening as I smoke a mood cig. Good job, brother.

I’ve downloaded from Apple Music but not sure if I’ll listen today because I’ll have a car full of blokes (with musical tastes of 15 year old boys) going up to a stag do in the Highlands. I’ll give this a spin on Monday as I have the day off to recover.
