Pretty much sums up his career to date that he finally has a genuine breakthrough performance then completely pisses away all of the momentum he got from the Lemieux fight. Looks like Callum Smith might be going the same way as well

Joshua vs Ruiz looks set to be announced tomorrow. Could have been worse, but basically meh. Undercard is still all over the place a little over 4 weeks out - this will be a hard sell given it's the early hours, even if it is AJ. I'm pretty sure I've bought every AJ fight, but not this.

Hopefully Ruiz has learnt from the mistakes he made in the Parker fight, could and probably would have won that if he had turned up with any real ambition beyond surviving the 12 rounds. Pretty much every time he let his hands go in that fight he looked much better than Parker but he just didn't do it anywhere near often enough to win
