Missiles being hoyed all game from North Stand Upper

Precisely what I will be doing. Was my young girls first game today sat in the north stand. Doubt she’ll want to go back. Looked terrified half the game, obscene behaviour. Seen a young lad about 6-7 with his head split open, another older bloke hit by a flare and the police stood right next to us doing nothing at all about it. I’ll give it until Monday when I’ve calmed down, but complaints will be going in through the club, the fa and the fsf. Completely ruined my experience and I barely seen the game, too busy watching over my shoulder to protect my young girl.

Decided after the game to walk out via the east stand to avoid their fans outside and the inevitable trouble and got plenty of stewards trying to tell me I couldn’t walk along the front. They were promptly told where to go.

Embarrassing my our club today, couldn’t have handled that worse

Realy feel for you mate. You can look after yourself but it really hurts when your trying to introduce your kids to the club and they are subject to intimidating
behaviour

Iam ashamed to be associated with the club for allowing this to happen. There is no way you should have been able to pay on the gate for away supporters.
Clearly there is no strategy for dealing with this type of incident. They blatantly allowed missiles to be rained down on families. The safety officer and police should have stopped the game and evacuated the north stand. One missile, just one could have killed someone and they stood and watched it. Scandalous

I’m the first to defend the club, but today I feel badly let down. I have a child who now doesn’t want to go back to the match because she saw a girl being hit by a bottle.

Two of their fans, who were at the front of the north upper, are cowards of the highest order. One was a middle aged bloke in a body warmer and had his hair pinned back (I know ) and the other was in a yellow stone island coat. Both mocked upset kids as objects continued to rain down. Utter f***ing scum.

Both of them were laughing as kids cried.
Yeah seen them - the two Four Eyed ***** next to them were no better.

Absolute scum chucking flares and bottles on to fans below. I'm a mag but hope your fans are ok
Cheers mate.

Today, things failed mate. Whether it was the coppers, or the stewards, they made a monumental mess of things. There will be kids who won’t want to go back, and that is ulimately the fault of the club who are responsible for safety.

It’s a personal choice for me to pay nearly £1k for season cards in the north stand, but I don’t expect no protection when morons are trying to hurt folk. Today was shameful
Shocking today - police standing motionless, away fans edging closer to the front AFTER several objects had been thrown, Coventry fans in boxes goading our fans, a few kids around me looked quite taken aback as most games this season have been a dead atmosphere but there was toxicity in the air today.

The majority of the plods at SAFC games are Mags, been the case since year dot, is anyone really that surprised at their could not care less attitude?
Probably expect no different from them . However in their professional role as law enforcement to queen and country they should be smart enough to realise a half full glass bottle or jar could easily kill someone and they would have blood on their hands for failing to act on obvious acts of violence/cowardice. But like you say your average mag is a fuckwit

It was a disgrace mate. If the new owners give a shit, there would be a statement and a full investigation. If this gets brushed under the carpet - I’m done.

They take it too far like, every penny trying to be made, cuts too stewards and staff at the ground, they running a massive club not Eastleigh, not all about money safety of supporter is paramount

Everyone who experienced it today needs to complain the club, every single fan, so this doesn't happen again.

We have got to assume that fans were not frisked, and staff served drinks with tops on. In all probability intimidated stewards and staff scared to do their jobs correctly becasuse of lack of support around them.

Coming out of the ground today, I had a new found respect for the skunks away support. Despite the hatred, they have never behaved like that. The club need to make a statement, because today was a real low
Other than the odd dickhead on either side it’ very rare Nufc or Safc fans resort to this cowardly shit I’m glad to say. I’d like to think they’d be pulled up by decent lads. Funnily enough, the worst I’ve seen at SJP was Coventry about 12 years ago when they brought a lot up for an FA Cup game. Flinging coins down all match. Never seen sight nor sound of them on any of my trips to Highfield Road over the years

The new owners on the whole been good for the club, However today the club has let itself down, whoever is managing crowd safety at the SOL should be sacked after that today. I sit in the east stand and could see the bottles and cans and God knows what else coming over the top yet I didn't see one of their fans pulled out..to have cash turnstiles on today was stupid and dangerous..

Spot on

No worries. But something needs doing or it’ll just occur again. I notice that Donald and Methven are very quiet on the matter today. No tweets from Donald this time, very easy being a good owner when we’re winning, bit different having a proper response when things like this happen.

I’m not one to condone violence, but I’m enjoying the various videos on social media of Coventry fans getting a kicking, given how much they’ve ruined my daughters day
I’m sure they will respond. Their job is not to shoot from the hip on twitter

Sorry to hear about your daughter
