Missiles being hoyed all game from North Stand Upper

Probably expect no different from them . However in their professional role as law enforcement to queen and country they should be smart enough to realise a half full glass bottle or jar could easily kill someone and they would have blood on their hands for failing to act on obvious acts of violence/cowardice. But like you say your average mag is a fuckwit

I just don’t trust NP at our games, I’ve got my reasons and I’m sure others have too. Feel sorry for those affected today.

We have got to assume that fans were not frisked, and staff served drinks with tops on. In all probability intimidated stewards and staff scared to do their jobs correctly becasuse of lack of support around them.

Serious questions have to be asked. In particular, how the fuck did so many bottles of beer make it to the seats? Where the fuck were the police in the north stand tunnel prematch when the cowardly shites were pushing old women??!!!

I might log off as I’m livid

It was a disgrace mate. If the new owners give a shit, there would be a statement and a full investigation. If this gets brushed under the carpet - I’m done.
It’s the fact that the police were more motionless as time went on, after repeated throws over from the top. People were in the police’s faces telling them what had happened. Bizarre. Fans in the boxes jumped up 5 times and were not kicked out of the boxes. But I guess it’s different as they under the guise of a company in the box, if a Coventry fan celebrated and was sat with us plebs they’d be removed. Money still talks then I guess.
There was a lot of non season ticket holders there today and any families in the North Stand would have had no will to come back after getting hit with objects. Shambolic all round.

A bit more fuel to the fire, my BiL who sits opposite end of the north stand to me (hanks side), his lass was hit by what they are presuming was a coin just after half time. She has a cut on her eyebrow and just got it clipped up, thing is how f***ing close is that to a 30 year old mother of 2 losing an eye. Fuck you Coventry and fuck the gormless mags who think its funny to go in the away end.
Possibly the most pissed off I've ever been with the club this, the police and stewards we're worse than useless today. Truth is they were calling people liars and even threatened to arrest our fans for having the nerve to complain.

There was so much that it had to be a premeditated and deliberate action.

Either that or loads of Coventry fans just happened to have the idea of sneaking beer to their seats and then launching them, as well as not drinking their coke and having the random thought of throwing it

Over the last few years, I’ve seen some shite, but today was the first time where I have considered dumping my SC. I take the kids and today was a total failure.

The club monitor this board, but I bet they do fuck all. A pub showing a stream though ....

I can’t see how what happened today is the current owners fault. The actions of some of the Coventry fans today was out of order, not sure how it can’t be blamed on Donald etc.

Every organisation complete risk assessments of all activity in its organisation. It has to do it to prove its providing both a safe place and working practises for its staff and visitors. Now it’s not rocket science that missiles from the north stand by away supporters is a risk. The question is how do you mitigate it. It would appear no one thought of that and that’s the bit which is unacceptable.

No Tweets at all showing today from our esteemed leader
To be fair to him has anyone tweeted him? I was in the East Stand and didn't notice anything happening. I'm sure from where he was sitting he didn't either so unless anyone contacts him he probably doesn't even know anything happened!

The club need to start reducing allocations. If we are in this division next year they should give Coventry no more than 500 tickets to vetted season ticket holders.

As mental as that is to read I really do agree with your thoughts. One thing I will add to all this though, maybe it was inbred Mags above us, the idea of them coming to throw shite on us below makes much more sense to me.

Other than the odd dickhead on either side it’ very rare Nufc or Safc fans resort to this cowardly shit I’m glad to say. I’d like to think they’d be pulled up by decent lads. Funnily enough, the worst I’ve seen at SJP was Coventry about 12 years ago when they brought a lot up for an FA Cup game. Flinging coins down all match. Never seen sight nor sound of them on any of my trips to Highfield Road over the years

In the Johnson 1-0 I was pelted with coins for most of the second half but I've never had it at home by anyone.

I've also never had bricks and rocks thrown at me by hundreds/thousands of home fans who have congregated around the away end at final whistle like down there either.

Seems to be a bit of a trend emerging.

I honestly believe the club didn’t employ enough staff today.

As much as I dislike them, it wasn’t mags mate. Prematch, I saw two or three coaches of Coventry pile off outside the Hilton and they didn’t give a fuck over who they hurt. There were two lads (one in a stone island polo and the other in a paisley shirt) who pretty much attacked a woman in her 60/70s. The police were useless

I would think there’s a pretty good chance someone will mate

I sit up the other end and I didn't know anything had been thrown until people mentioned it in the pub after the match. All who witnessed it should definitely get in touch with the club and any other bodies and complain about it. You shouldn't be hit with things when you're just having a day out at the football.

CCTV should be able to pick out faces. Hopefully enough people will take issue with this and something will be done about it
This is correct....however sitting back to review CCTV and arrest the perpetrators at a later date does nothing at all to ensure the safety of the people/victims at the time and offer them any level of protection.

Action should have been taken at the time and it could have been nipped in the bud and not allowed to escalate.

No worries. But something needs doing or it’ll just occur again. I notice that Donald and Methven are very quiet on the matter today. No tweets from Donald this time, very easy being a good owner when we’re winning, bit different having a proper response when things like this happen.

I’m not one to condone violence, but I’m enjoying the various videos on social media of Coventry fans getting a kicking, given how much they’ve ruined my daughters day

Only seen the one doing the rounds, in the Wheatsheaf.

Quite possibly and I hope he takes notice. Was just responding to people saying he should pick up on it when it's hard to know what's going on elswhere in the stadium. Like I say in the East Stand couldn't tell anything was going on.
