Fair enough marra.Well he is unlikely to ever get released so it kind of is. It’s a terrible situation but the family should be pointing the finger at whoever let a dangerous mentally ill person walk the streets.
I agree with the first part but not the second. By the sounds of personal experience he seemed a well care for kid and as far as I'm aware paranoid schizophrenia isn't automatically a result of abuse. He might get out but he will likely stay on restrictions for the rest of his life, meaning if he gets picked up pissed or anything remotely risky hellh get hooked back into a secure unit.
The other thing is for someone like him to have become so unwell I can absolutely guarantee he will have been a victim of abuse throughout his childhood.
Yep. But try telling that the pitchfork waving masses on FB. And on here actually.I haven't read the whole thread but on Look North tonight it was said that it's likely that he will be committed to a high security institution for life, only to be released on the acquiescence of the home secretary.
So a more severe sentence than a life sentence for murder.
He should never get out , regardless
Shush man, the smb experts on everything have spoken. He can 'guarantee it'I agree with the first part but not the second. By the sounds of personal experience he seemed a well care for kid and as far as I'm aware paranoid schizophrenia isn't automatically a result of abuse.
I am very good friends with his family, he grew up next door to my parents, while you can never be sure of what goes on behind closed doors I never saw any signs of abuse. He was a very happy child always friendly, polite and outgoing and eager to help others.
Unless they have a motive.Anyone who murders anyone , at that exact moment must be insane then , of not right mind etc.
Should carry a higher penalty really. Can’t control his own mind so needs to be locked away in case he snaps againJoan Hoggett murder trial: Ethan Mountain found not guilty of murder and faces sentence for manslaughter after shop worker stabbed to death
Criminal justice system is a joke
Should still carry the murder charge and be imprisoned without parole
In 10 years he'll claim he's cured, pass all the psychological assessments, and start getting day release etc.Should carry a higher penalty really. Can’t control his own mind so needs to be locked away in case he snaps again
Except he already had a diagnosed mental illness. He didn’t do it then think “shit, better pretend I’m insane”.In 10 years he'll claim he's cured, pass all the psychological assessments, and start getting day release etc.
Killer allowed out on shopping trips despite judge warning he might never be released
"He killed her in a sexually motivated attack after forcing his way into her home, stabbing her 66 times."
"The trial judge also warned Jaggs that such was the gravity of his offence, that he may never be released."
However...
"But after being moved from Broadmoor to the medium security, Littlemore Hospital in Oxford, in 2015, Jaggs is now being prepared to be released back into the community. He has been allowed supervised visits out of hospital and has visited Oxford city centre by bus as well as going on a number of shopping trips."
12 years he's served.
This lad knew what he was doing playing the mental-illness card.
this thread suggests otherwiseDiminished responsibility.
Shouldn't make a difference to the amount of years served IMO. If he is mentally unstable and capable of doing something like that needs to be locked away for a very long time. Unfortunately he will probably be sentenced to 10 and out in 5
So you believe his "I can't remember" story?Except he already had a diagnosed mental illness. He didn’t do it then think “shit, better pretend I’m insane”.
Yes this^ what we need is a big global nuclear/atom bomb war - or the alternative is never ending slavery and going along with fk wits, if trump or kim is reading this launch now!Using metal heath as a excuse?
The judiciary and our parliament in this country need burning to the f***ing ground and starting from scratch again.
