Stabbed 29 times but it's not murder astounding.
lad stabbed someone 29 times and was given not guilty for murder. blamed mental issues
Shouldn't make a difference to the amount of years served IMO. If he is mentally unstable and capable of doing something like that needs to be locked away for a very long time. Unfortunately he will probably be sentenced to 10 and out in 5
10 years is a joke
Joan Hoggett murder trial: Ethan Mountain found not guilty of murder and faces sentence for manslaughter after shop worker stabbed to death
Criminal justice system is a joke
Should still carry the murder charge and be imprisoned without parole
Absolutely fucking ridiculous.
Bollocks man. They have established he’s a fruit loop. He was before I he did it. He’ll be committed and more than likely never get out.
Think about it. Is it the behaviour of a sane person to take a bag of knives out and randomly kill someone you’ve never met in full view of cctv?
What a fucking travesty of justice. I feel for the family. How can they accept that?
He'll be locked up much longer this way.
Unbelievably, I agree with you and think you're speaking sense.
If he’s genuinely mentally ill then he should be sentenced accordingly.
The lad was diagnosed with mental health issues before the killing and told staff he would hurt people. Anger should be more directed towards the mental health provision but as is the SMB way just hang him....
Off his tits on drugs mer like.
The End of Days is upon us when Herbal is the one speaking sense.
Definitely doesn't feel like justice...shouldn't of really been out in the 1st place...all the mental health hospitals seem to have dried up lately probably due to budget cuts I'd imagine.....what's replaced bede wing in shields?...where do patients go that used to be looked after by cherry Knowles....
Longer than life without parole?
absolutely. Pretty surprised people feel otherwise tbh
given that out of the prison population of 80,000+ only c.70 are serving whole life sentences that would be an unlikely scenario.
Sentenced under a hospital order will most likely be longer than a manslaughter sentence
