Regardless of the reviews and the other on goings it's certainly doing well at the box office.

Get dragged there by their friends or spouse, maybe obliged to take the kids. There are loads of films I've been to see that I've not been interested in. The Mrs made me see 3 out of 5 Twilight films.

5 or 6 of the top 20 grossing films are marvel. They obviously attract more the 40somethings that live with their mothers.

Had an argument for the last one. Went on a double date and the lasses were meeting us in town. Got pissed and the girls were annoyed at us. Defo worth it imo. I watch shit all year round with her on Netflix. There's next to nowt I choose to watch so I don't feel guilty at all.
 
I thought it was ok, probably fits somewhere in the middle if I was to rank Marvel films.

Although I think Brie was incredibly wooden and not a very relatable or likeable protagonist. Not sure if that was to do with her acting or the script.

It's already been covered as bollocks in this thread after Hebburn Mackem spouted off similar. I'm giving you the opportunity to provide an example or two debunking the debunking since Hebburn Mackem disappeared afterwards.

It's not even about whether she's racist or not, it's about people (for whatever reason) thinking she's racist. Clearly lots of people do judging by the google results. If you google "Chris evans racist" you get 0 hits. Same with probably EVERY other Marvel actor. Yet for some reason, with her, there's 100's of them. That's why people don't like her, and that's why the film got hundreds of bad reviews before it even came out.

I'm not going to crawl through her bloody twitter in order to have an argument with you. I don't wish to argue. I simply replied to a post explaining why the bad press because I've watched it building up ever since the film was announced. If you wish to investigate further, go ahead. If not, don't.

I'm not going to spoonfeed you.

What the hell has that got to do with google returning 100's of hits for "Brie Larson racist"? Obviously there's a public perception that she's racist, otherwise it wouldn't be an issue. She isn't liked by some, and that's had an effect on reviews. That's all my point was. I don't see why you're getting defensive/insulting/dismissive. It's right there on google!

It's the perception of a bunch of insecure man babies mate. If it wasn't Brie Larson it would be someone else.

The SJW type aren't much better, There'll be someone that grabbed a tit in 2003 getting pelters I'm sure.
 
I’ve been a Marvel comics fan for nearly 40 years now, I’ve waited a long time for these films to materialise.

I’m enjoying the ride while it lasts..... just enjoying them for what they are harmless entertainment for the masses.

‘Nuff said true believers!
