The footie Echo had a good non league and sunday morning football section as well...gutted when it stopped likeIt was a sad day when the Football Echo ceased publication it was one of the few left in the UK. I tend to only buy the Echo these days to read the match report of Sunderland's game and on Wednesdays for Tony Gillans humours piece.

Not a particular dig at the Echo here, but local print has been massively caught with its pants down and deserves everything it gets.
Arrogance of not getting themselves online quick enough - and to a man - when they did get online they made such a mess of their websites they are actually generally unusable.
Sad for the people this affects, but the blame lies solely with the management and editors.
