It seems to me that gang culture isn't about commodities and making money any more and all about someone disrepecting you bruv etc. At least they used to make a decent living out of it. The struggle is real brother. I was in my local at the time (The Woodman near Highgate tube) and tried to talk to these lads after Man Utd had scored a cracking goal in the Champions League. They looked at me like I'd insulted their Nana's and when I asked what the problem was, I was informed "you're Norvern". I nearly chinned the cock.
Had to walk up the big hill for a new local after that.
