That depends. The airline famous for doing things as cheaply as possible, how far does that extend through the company?

I just thought they bought new planes ran them for so long without maintenance then sold them on and repeat ? Must be a bit of a risk not doing any maintenance? I imagine the rest of the company will be ran no frills too

Its a no frills airline and you get was you pay for IMO, boys nursery closes in Aug so I've took 2 weeks off, 1st week me and him off to the UK then Milan with Ryanair, 2nd week the clans off to Majorca with them - cheap as chips just know what you're expecting

Went to Madrid recently with them , was pleasantly surprised after all I'd heard, enjoyed the flights , on time just the same as easy jet or jet 2. I just order me gin and tonics and am quite happy !

Enjoy your travels Lamby :)

Cheers Karen we will he loves it. I've flown all over with them (Madrid inc - class place) and been trouble free.

We're actually booked to get over to see my mam in sept - Ryanair was 200quid for the 4 of us, jet2 were 850quid - its a no brainer

Flew with them last week, I had a personal bag that went under the seat in front and a cabin bag for the over head lockers. That got put in the hold for free as too many bags were going into the cabin. Don’t understand why people are complaining like?

if you think there is a chance you will get delayed on the tarmac - ether eat/drink before you get on or take your own stuff on. Same thing will happen if you fly with most airlines

Anyone had any bother with the hand luggage sizes?

Always bring my backpack which is now bigger than the maximum size, but can easily fit under the seat.

Hoping they won't be too fussed as long as it's not an actual suitcase

They never once weighed or checked the size of my bags.

Of course the planes are maintained. That would come under CAA (or the Irish equivalent) and ryanair wouldn’t have a choice not to do it otherwise they would be running the risk of losing their air worthiness certificate.

Depends entirely on the staff working that day.

My experiences over the last few months has been that they're shit hot now at putting stuff in the hold.
I think the new size limits are ridiculous, there is no decent backpack you can get that is 35cm in height.
