I was there and I only missed the one home game. I think it was Marco' s home debut. My dad was a man Utd season ticket holder and was a guest of Bryan Robson at a home game v Tottenham so he took me along.
I'm sure Frankys bus will continue next season. I'm hoping to go on it at least twice next season

As has been reiterated, it was a cracking season and a great tonic for getting over the previous relegation, mud sliding at Wigan, the pitch invasion at york, Blackpool weekend and so many more.... there seemed to be more aggro though, not sure if it was due to the size of the away following or what. Preston away was particularly unsavoury that season.

Can anyone jog my memory and tell me if I’m correct that Hunta died in a car crash on his way down to Mansfield for the midweek game or have I got that totally wrong?

Went to everg game apart from Bristol away with sherburn and gilesgate lads great menories .If I could give advice to younger fans enjoy the experience home and away my mates loved it when we get together we remember the laughs and scrapes happy days.Support the team not the division.

A great season.
From the first game at Brentford with the locals giving it large until they saw bus after bus after bus arriving to the town of Burslem shutting up for the day in fear of trouble just like a cowboy western.
Let's make next season the same!

I’m sure I remember Rotherham away when we got a penalty and one of our lot climbed the fence, ran on the pitch and took it??????

Hunter died in a car crash the season after, possibly Chelsea away. The memory banks are a bit faded though.

Aye cracking day out, I can't remember that though mate, surprised I can remember anything about it to be honest.

I wasn’t too sure mate, I remember it happening but my head is full of moon dust.
I can remember Fulham Broadway and hundreds singing in memory of him on the tube.

Canny season overall.
Did a load of away games too.
So much depends on whether we r taken over.

When we played Blackpool that season my mates and I ( Stanley ) went on a bus for the weekend with a load of radgies from Seaham. There was one gent on that trip from Seaham, who had previously lovingly tried to strangle his mother. He f***ing looked scary, my mate was pissed and had locked me out the room, took a while to rouse him. I was f***ing bricking it in case the Seaham strangler was lurking. Does that ring any bells with anyone ?

Just had a look at Statcat for the season.

As far as I Remember I went to every home game plus Walsall, Chester, York, Port Vale and Rotherham away
Also went away to Boro in the league cup, Scunthorpe in the FA cup and for some reason Scarborough in the Sherpa Van Trophy

Paul Lemon: World class!:)

Wigan was tremendous, awful game but fuck me it was funny!

Northampton away was a bit weird with it being adjacent to the cricket ground...

Not our only cricket pitch that season either. Pre-season game at Feethams we went through the turnstiles to find a cricket pitch in front of us and actually thought for a moment that we had come to the wrong place...

I think that was on the way to a midweek game the following season at Oxford (our first away win of the season).
