At the end of the day someone was always going to retaliate, eye for an eye and all that.
I know plenty of people who frankly have had enough. I'm not saying it's right but take all the political correctness out of it and people are fed up with being attacked in their own countries by albeit a minority of a culture/religion.
Society has been too soft (molly coddled) on those who oppose the views and values of our culture in the fear of offending the do gooders.
I'm struggling to remember the last time i heard of a terrorist attack in China where they outlaw religion.
Didn't happen.Finsbury Park attack: Roses for Ramadan worshippers
Journalist Lipika Pelham lives close to the Finsbury Park mosque, is a member of the local synagogue, and is accustomed to seeing girls in hijabs acting in the Nativity Play at her children's school. On Monday evening, nearly 24 hours after the van attack a few yards away, she was one of hundreds handing flowers to Muslim worshippers as they entered the mosque to pray.

I'm surprised it's even up for debate tbh. It's an ideology totally opposed to liberal values, yet so called liberals refuse to criticize it.
He said Islam was backward and you flat out disagreed with him.
Deep down, you know it is because the evidence is overwhelming, but you just can't bring yourself to admit it.
Muslim is the name given to the people that follow the religion of Islam. All followers of Islam are muslims. If you're talking about the extreme elements of Islam or Islamism then you need to define that clearly. The ideology of Islam is not the same thing as "all muslims".
Because you are lumping all believers of Islam in together and believe that follower of Islam can fit into western culture, which many clearly can and do.I'm not talking about it in the west. Why are you ignoring the Islamic governments of the middle east and elsewhere?
Like America and it's love of the death penalty for many states with 70% of the population being Christian. Sure, must be a religion thing. Unless those sneaky muslims passed this law as the minority. Culture. Is it really that difficult to understand? Many different countries have draconian laws which aren't down to the individual country's culture but a basis in the religion they all share.
You've already been picked apart plenty on this thread about this but FFS, imagine being so narrow minded that a non-muslim cannot be best friends with a muslim person. It's people like you that promote the segregation of different religions and cultures in society and probably lead people to believe that they cannot be friends with muslims because they are so different, when in fact people are just people. Some just have different personal beliefs and something to put their hope in. But this post alone showed your true ignorance.Do you know anyone who is "best friends" with a muslim, and I mean a full on practicing muslim, not one who just says he is but is out on the drink every weekend with his "best friend"?
And then further showed yourself up for what you are when you had to query the response of somebody admitting to being friends with muslim people. Like OMG, how could that ever happen? As in socialising friends?
Your opinion is shit, narrow minded and ignorant. Yes, some people will only really interact with muslim people in work however the only thing setting any boundaries between a friendship between a muslim person and a non-muslim people is themselves. And lol at practicing muslim. A practicing muslim is only who chooses to go out with a suicide belt and blow innocent people iirc in your opinion. That's a slightly different scenario. Are you still friends with them now?
IMO, the majority of people who have muslim* work colleagues will not be friendly with them outside of work, and the reason for that is they will have nothing in common outside of work. Obviously there are exeptions, but I would think this would apply to the majority.
* as in practicing muslim.
Please enlighten me on how much time a practicing muslim spends praying each day.Gone into hiding? I don't spend all of my time on here ffs, even though my family think I do.
I think you have misunderstood my point. A practicing muslim and your average "white British" person won't have much in common, as one will spend most of his spare time praying and the other will be at the pub.
I suppose cricket could be a joint interest like.
Ladies and gentleman, as an adult you cannot have anything in common with a muslim. Music, films, TV, sports, food, activities - none of that. Muslims only like prayer and suicide.Read the rest of the thread, will you. I've said there are exceptions. Obviously if you grew up with someone, it's a bit different to meeting someone as an adult if you have little in common with them.
Having to question how I met muslim friends. Haven't you been listening to Tommy and Billy. They are all around us, swarming us even. I'm surprised you struggle to meet many with that narrative. How did you meet them?
For what reason will muslims not have things in common with non-muslims? "It isn't always the case", you mean "it is often the case that muslims and non-muslims don't have things in common". We're all humans first and foremost at the end of the day. We all shit, bleed and breathe the same.Well, if you have things in common then it's easier to meet people.
My point was, in a lot of cases, muslims will not have much in common with non muslims, but I appreciate this isn't always the case.
This is because muslims are people. People differ all the time. Being muslim does not define you.I've already said earlier that I was introduced to my missus through a mutual muslim friend.
Apart from her, I've mixed with Muslims of different degrees of religiousness in education and work. None have been exactly the same.
Islam is the religion, muslims follow Islam.I don't lump all Muslims together.
When I say "Islam", you obviously read it as "all muslims".
They're all the same.Obviously there will be some things where they all think similar, so yes, I would "lump them together" on some things, and defending their religion is one of them. I don't think its unreasonable to think someone who practices a religion may not be imparitial on that subject.
Correct.Didn't happen.
Everyone knows we had to cancel Nativity plays to appease the Muslims man.
hope they have plenty books handy to hoyThe suspect in this case is on trial today.
Or shoes and sandals evenhope they have plenty books handy to hoy
It says it was moved due to the muslims pupils having the days off for eid, not cancelled.
OK Lilly. Please don't group everyone in the same basket as this bloke.Yes, thickie is up in the dock.
He’s claiming he’s totally innocent of course.
He’s brought shame on the UK, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there were reprisal attacks for the murder he carried out.
'True muslims' are more likely to do so according to some in this thread.OK Lilly. Please don't group everyone in the same basket as this bloke.
Why would there be reprisal attacks? If there was going to be any they would have happened by now. Not all Muslims are out to kill.
I know mate, it really is amazing the tunnels some people live in and look out of.'True muslims' are more likely to do so according to some in this thread.
A handwritten note, found in the van, complained about terrorists on the streets and the Rotherham child exploitation scandal, Mr Rees said.
The note allegedly referred to Muslim people as "feral" and called Muslim men "rapists" who were "preying on our children", the jury heard.
One part read: "Don't people get it, this is happening up and down our Green and pleasant land.
"Ferrel [feral] inbred raping muslim men hunting in packs preying on our children, this will be coming to a town near you soon, it most probably has, get back to the desert, you raping inbred bastards & climb back on ya camels."
The note ended: "Well Folkes gotta go busy day today. Remember peaceful vigils only & please dont look back in anger, God Save the Queen."
It also branded Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn a "terrorist sympathiser" and attacked London Mayor Sadiq Khan and singer Lily Allen, the prosecutor added.
Will Ferrel’s fault if I read that correctlyAnyone wanting further detail on the contents of his note should check out any thread in the politics sub forum Half of them are probably on a watchlist following this note.
