Off to Pila in Italy at the end of the month. Bit cheaper than France. Nothing better when the snow is good and the sun is out. Looks like there’s been enough snow to last the rest of the season

France now getting very expensive....last year year 5 or 6 euros a pint now its 7 or 8 ...and yes lots of snow with more to come this week

Off to seefeld in Austria next weekend. Never been before so rather excited, booked lessons for first two days there. Other two days will explore nearby German town Mittenwald.

It's f***ing freezing mate.
I reckon in 20 years of skiing that it's the coldest I've ever been. Probably minus 20-30 on the long chair lift, there were 3 foot horizontal icicles on the pylons.

Soft shite! -39 at Sunsine one day I was there and -27 at Fernie one day.

Vail got up to 76F last week which was a bit worrying, but has dropped down again since

Anyone on here gan skiing. Ive just booked up to go to Arinsal Andorra in February the knars
Yeah. I bloody love skiing. Off next weekend for the day then booked for a week in Banff for a week in Feb.
Can’t wait until I move to Calgary. I’ll be skiing a lot more

I won’t go if it’s below -20 like. I was in Calgary and Banff over Christmas but it was as low as -36 so I never got any in.

I got stranded on top of goats eye in a bad storm. I couldn’t see an inch in front of my face.
I had to take my skis off and walk down at one point. I was so paranoid about dropping off the edge

I love it me. don' go on summer holiday so I can go skiing in winter. best holiday you can have. all day in mountains beautiful scenery doing exercise then few beers at night. can' beat it.
Rubbish buggerlugs. If the sun isn't blazing down by a pool you can fuck off. Snow? Balls to that.

Been looking at the options over the weekend - hopefully going in March - probably Austria (Schladming, St. Johann) or Italy (Milky Way), maybe France (Chamonix area).
Now we don't have to worry about going during the school holidays it makes a huge difference (price and how busy the slopes are). We like to try different places too - friends of ours have been to Obergurgl about 8 times - it is a beautiful place but they must be getting bored of going down the same runs again and again.
