When Newcastle nearly won the League

And whatever Newcastle have done, or havn't, doesn't alter our 'achievements' either.

This thread is about Newcastle blowing their only chance of winning the title you'll ever see.

Not by a fluke result, a debatable penalty or goal difference ...... they had the title wrapped up and blew it

As a Sunderland supporter you have to see how funny that is.

What was the feeling amongst SAFC supporters?

This message board and Social Media wouldn't have been around so there wouldn't have been many Mags kicking about bragging and being unbearable unless you actually physically spoke to them.

I think if it were to happen these days it would be utterly unbearable.
that was a shower of shit for them thankfully, and they will get nowhere near that again........hopefully :lol::lol:

At least from their point of view they had a chance of winning it in our lifetimes.. us on the other hand.

They use the same argument against us when we say that we made it to a cup final 'But you lost'

Newcastle almost won the title 'But you didnt'

Swings and roundabouts marra

This thread. Who'd have though something so low-brow from KingMagem would have the usual mag thread-huggers dancing to his tune.

The Forest game when Woan scored was on a Thursday night IIRC..i was at work and it was brilliant when the goal went in..on the Sunday night after the last game we were in the Derry and it was class, everyone was singing and happy that the filth had spewed it..good times.

On the evening of the Blackburn game I didn't want to hear their joy if they'd won, so I'd gone to bed for an early shift next day but when my wife was setting the clock-radio alarm just as Fenton scored my chances of going to sleep were totally wrecked!

And yet, through the actions of their comedy manager became a laughing stock

I'd love it, really love it if I could find a picture of the 'Champions' scarves the Mags were wearing ...... it was pathetic man, you'd piss yersel.

We made it to the new Wembley that's something your club has never done.

Pretty much every NE team has even the lower league ones but you still have yet to go.

Alot on this forum love a good dance marra

It's somewhat been ignored but nufc were the biggest spenders at the time....mid 90s they spent much more on transfers than other clubs.
E.g £6M for Les Ferdinand may seem cheap by today's standards but for the fledgling Premier league it was a lot of money. Not to mention shearer, ginola, asprilla, batty......etc etc

There'll no doubt be mags along later saying this isn't true but man Utd won it primarily with the youth team and jack walker stopped bankrolling Blackburn after they won the league in 95

I'm pretty sure they paid a then record fee for a defender of 2.75m for Sharron Peacock, then broke it by paying 4m............for Warren Barton

You and Sima always seem quite close, really 'touching' ....

.... or is he just out of reach

Are you trying to say that we are in a homosexual relationship? Because im not, not sure about him mind

He seems to want to latch onto you and be your 'marra' ..... you appear quite keen on him.

Seriously, what do you think of a Mag who donates money to a Sunderland forum and hides it from his lass?

If hes a donater it shows hes quite level headed and not here to wind us up I suppose, not sure about hiding it from his lass maybe she hates Sunderland?
