Yup. And it has to be Fever Tree tonic not that 'disgusting' Schweppes stuff that was perfectly acceptable until Fever Tree existed

One would never dream of making a Black Russian with anything but their finest Madagascan Cola.

I'm going to launch my original hand crafted prison style hooch made from any old fruit I can get my hands on, stale bread and packets of sugar collected from service stations and back street cafes all lovingly fermented in an old coke bottle and filtered through a sock.

Best served luke warm in a plastic mug for maximum authenticity.

New drink I've noticed (but is likely to have been around a while?) are
Woo Woo Cocktails. I had never heard of them before April this year but now they appear everywhere.

pretty much with some caster sugar...

rhubarb and sugar for 24 hours to draw the moisture out rhubarb and you are left with a syrup in the bottom of the jar.. then add gin.

just give a turn and a shake every day for a fortnight then sup

but twist is to drink with Fevertree ginger ale and not tonic

lad in Majestic Wine in Shoreditch was from Durham has it happens.. he could have got me well pissed in there...

samples galore

Sounds lovely actually.

Hop infused gin goes really well with bitter lemon as well. Citra and Mosaic hops if you can lay your hands on some.

Nothing new under the sun, obviously. I read in an in flight mag recently how in Barcelona the hipsters are drinking leche de pantera. Had it in a grubby bar there 25 years ago...it was grim then and still will be now I am certain.
