I've had quite a lot of ghost/spirit experiences all my life, when I was in the Army I had a lot of experiences when we were based in Hohne, the camp is 1 mile away from Belsen, and our camp was used as a holding point for the Jews during the war before they were taken to the concentration camp, just an example me and other lads were often scratched, I could write pages of other experiences I've had.

Anyone who says ghosts/spirits don't exist, I can assure you from personal experiences which started as a kid, they do...

I used to live in York and you get some thick fogs rolling down the vale. Driving home one evening at dusk, I approached a crossroads and the fog was unbelievably thick. Although I had right of way, I slowed right down. If I could not see if anyone was trying to pull out, they could not see me. All of a sudden, out the fog rode a man in Victorian dress on a penny farthing bike. He just road out of the fog, right across the cross roads and back into the fog on the other side. I turned to the lad in the car with me to check that he had seen the same, and he had. It felt like something completely out of this world.

There was a Victorian event on at the museum at the time with some special festival that evening, with a lot of people in period dress. Sometimes there is just a simple explanation for these things.

Was lay on the other half's bed, was in the afternoon so it was light. Where I was lay you can see the top of the stairs, anyway I seen a tall black shadow walk up the stairs and across into the bathroom. I thought someone was taking the piss and gonna scare me so I got up and walked in every room upstairs. Nothing! Only to then ask if someone had been upstairs and find out its the man who died in the house and you can often smell is pipe baccy.

Only my one real sighing.

Why does this shit it always happen when its dark

Because that is when it is harder to see things and your brain fills in the blanks, altering your perception. I think there is a natural thing to see movement as people.

While watering the garden last night, I twice turned because I thought someone was walking past and there was not. Out the corner of my eye there was a fence post light in sunlight, but because it was windy, shadows of tree branches were waving across it.

I saw a great bit on a program about Loch Ness a few years ago. They rigged up a bit of black pipe on a pully, so 30 yards out into the loch, they could pull the pipe upright. They did this in front of a few bunches of tourists and a hell of a lot of them described a typical 'dinosaur' head. A few also saw humps and ripples behind. They had been thinking about the Nessie myth, saw something they could not quite focus clearly on appear out the water and their brains did the rest. When shown a video, some people agreed that it was what they saw but they experienced something different.

I posted this a couple of times on here.....

My Mam has always been very open minded about this stuff and has been known to comment about how her Mam (my Nana) watches over her. About 25 years ago my Mam rang me at work one afternoon, still the only time she has ever called me at work, asking if I was okay and was everything alright, but she wouldn't tell me why she was asking. I was fine so I rang my older sister to ask her what was up and she'd had the same call from Mam. We later found out that my Mam had been sitting at home doing some sewing in the dining room when she thought someone had come in the house behind her. She checked the house, doors were locked, everything was normal so she went back to her sewing. Few minutes later there was a noise upstairs so Mam went to check. My parents room had fitted wardrobes running the length of one wall that my Dad had built with 8 doors from floor to ceiling and inside had a shelf about 6 feet up, which my Mam had to use a stool to reach. On this shelf, among other things, was a box of 6 x tumbler style drinking glasses standing upright and closed. When Mam opened the bedroom door she saw that one wardrobe door was open, the box of drinking glasses was upright but open on the shelf and ONE glass was on the floor, smashed. She'd gone downstairs, rang my Sister and I (we have a younger Sister who was in school at the time so the school would have rang if something was wrong), tidied the glass up and went back to what she was doing. That evening my Uncle, Mam's only brother (she has 4 sisters) called round to tell her he'd been to the Doctors earlier in the afternoon and been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Used to work with an architect who told me a story about a job he'd worked on in the late 6o's. Old hotel that was going to be converted into offices, he was working over the weekend doing some measured survey work when he heard one of the passenger lifts go up and then down the 5 floors. Very strange given that, because the building was empty, the mains power had been isolated many months beforehand. He checked with the electricians on Monday and they said it was impossible.
Did a bit of research and found that one of the domestic staff from the hotel had topped herself many years beforehand by throwing herself down a lift shaft.

He was a very sober minded bloke who I knew very well. The building was in North Yorks and nearly 100miles from his home so it's unlikely someone would have followed him that far to play a prank

I was sitting out in the garden one warm summer evening a couple of years ago just after dusk watching the world go by (as much as one can with fences in two directions, and a shed and house in the other two). I was surprised to hear a bizarre guttural squawking noise from behind the shed. I rose to investigate and as I did, two small, strange befeathered objects floated up from the direction of the noise and continued skyward. The first appeared to have a beaked head and what may or may not have been wings and the second had what seemed, in the growing darkness, to be a pair of taloned legs and a moderately ornate tale. I can't be 100% sure (as mentioned it was getting dark) but I tend to believe that I had seen the legendary ghost of the seagull that had been karate chopped in half.

Ghosts - Spent a night in Chillingham Castle Grey Room... Shit went down!

UFO'S - Fully believe, by the law of Science, there is other life out there, Millions of Miles of un-explored space. Also, I believe they visit this Planet from time-to-time, although I do think 99% reports are explainable, 1% aren't.

Big Foot - Load of bollicks, there would have been more sightings by now, it's a hoax that people are desperately trying to prove exsists, with no success.

Loch Ness Monster - Fake.

My wife is an empath and sensitive to this stuff she regularly will see or sense things in places we go hotels we stay etc

The Apartment we used to live in definitely had something paranormal in there

I stayed in an old house in France probably about 15 years ago... The place just didn't feel right - we found out it had been a nunnery hundreds of years previously. Anyway.... the first night we stayed there I felt something sit on my bed but would I fuck turn round and see what it was! The reason I don't think I was dreaming was that I would have thought that if something sat on my bed it would feel like the mattress going down a bit but it didn't - it felt like the sheets got pulled tighter on one side. Scared the shit out of me.... The house was three stories and we hardly ever went onto the middle floor which was a large living area. One evening we did though and it just felt..... spooky! There were 4 of us and one of us made a jokey remark about It being spooky and said out loud that if there was anyone there they should blow the candle out and it went out - seriously! On the last night there after we all went to bed there was an almighty crash from the stairs sounding like someone had fallen down them and we all rushed out to have a look and there was no sign of anything happened. The next morning we all basically ran out of the place .

In my current house there have been a few weird things (old house, built in 1870's). The first one was sitting in the living room and heard a dog run through the front room - could hear the paws on the ground very clearly and then bang into the front door - the door shuddered and the letter box rattled but there was nothing there. When my daughter was 3 or 4 we heard a crying girl at my bedroom door and thinking it was her got up and opened the door and there was nobody there - but the sound carried on, sort of floated through the air then sped up and went through the window. That was weird... There was quite often the sound of little stones or something being thrown on the floor in the dining room but there's never anything there. The house feels nice and friendly though so it doesn't bother me...

Tell some more mate...

Myself and my brother saw a ghost when we were kids.

It was during the summer holidays and my old man sent us to the Chippy to get our tea, as we were walking home my brother who was then about 12 noticed a bloke walking behind us, dressed in work overalls, dust boots, hard hat etc carrying a lunchbox and said how he hates it when people walk so close behind you, he was about 6 foot away from us, I looked at him shrugged my shoulders and turned back around to carry on walking when my brother started screaming. I turned around and the bloke had disappeared.

The bloke had literally evaporated into thin air, there was no where he could have gone in that time because we are talking less than 1 second from me looking at him to my brother screaming. We absolutely pegged it back home in a right state.

We later found out from one of the older fellas who lived in our street, Gary Crosby the lad who scored that header out of Andy Dibble's hand when he was playing for Forest, his uncle Dennis, told us that this bloke had been seen a number of times in the same spot and he was a lad who's been killed whilst working in the disused quarry behind my old mans house.

The story has been retold a few times down the years, mush to the hilarity of my brothers kids who think it's absolutely ridiculous.....kids eh? Cheeky fuckers!

One night in 1977, when I was 12, my Dad and I were walking our dog just before midnight. We were standing at the bottom of our street looking across the farmer's field (which is now a housing estate) towards what is now Nissan. Our dog started going nuts and at that moment we saw a cigar shaped object low down over Washington way and it moved at great speed in the direction of Bunny Hill. Ah, just a plane heading to Newcastle Airport you say? Maybe, except it had sped across the sky at such great speed then stopped dead still above Bunny Hill as if someone had flicked a switch. It hovered for about a minute then suddenly shot directly, vertically up into the sky at terrific speed and disappeared in seconds. There is no craft I know that can move as fast as the one we saw that night. It was astonishing.

Later that night we were woken by a humming noise that was heard all over the country (The press called it "The Night of the Hum").

Weird goings on.

I am an fairly old git but I can safely say that I have never ever seen a UFO or had a'psychic experience of any kind in my entire life. Oh I have heard bumps in the night and stayed in and owned very old houses but I have never encountered anything that couldn't be explained by me being half way between sleep and consciousness at the time or by the expansion and contraction of old walls and timbers.

I am not rubbishing what others say that they have experienced or questioning their honesty but I find it interesting that there are many like me who don't seem to experience these things. Do we lack a "second sight" or are we less impressionable?

I said that until as clear as a bell as mentioned I heard the 3 slaps every15 minutes.....then silence when searching villa. Wtf man.

And every light and doors open on my return after night out, bearing in mind you leave the villa in blazing sun hence no lights on.

I simply wish I had an explanation. From a huge piss taking sceptic.

Shitting myself!!!!!!
