Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko

How did Wlad stay on his feet after that uppercut? What a fight.
For me AJ proved tonight that he is one of the best he took a good punch and came back from the brink to win. That's proves more than knocking some nobody out in 4 rounds.
Respect to Wlad a true warrior.

Fella I know well, who is well clued up on boxing called the Bellew v Haye fight spot on, including the round itself. Made a good return on it.

He is going for a Klitschko win.

He reckons this is a step too far for Joshua at the moment, in terms of experience and he'll struggle to land through Klitschko's defence.
Reckons the fight against Whyte shows Joshua is vulnerable when hit and that Klitschko will take control as the fight goes into the second half.

I tried to get him to commit to a bit more specific and he said it all depends on Joshua's stamina holding out.

So for me, a little bet on Klitschko to win.

He's improved massively. Movement mainly. He isn't as stiff as a board anymore. And he knows how to take rounds off, which surprised me.

I thought his movement was pretty poor, he was still easy to hit. This wasn't a prime Wlad, he was 41 y,o. And he boxed around him quite easily most of the night.
He was done round 5 and one of the younger guys would have had the steam to get him out of there. Wlad will watch this back and it'll be the biggest regret of his career that he didn't take full advantage 6,7,8 when no shots were coming back.
Joshua showed a lot of heart though and I was impressed with his powers of recovery and still scary power in the last couple of rounds.

Hes 17 stone and built like a bodybuilder hell never have amazing movement so thats harsh imo.

Vlad couldnt put him away because he was all punched out. There are no younger guys with vlads class who will take him deep either. That will be ajs toughest fight of his career unless a prodigy emerges.

Both were 17 stone + and being built like a body builder is why he went into zero power mode for 3 rounds.

Fury would certainly give him a night's work, if he gets himself back. I don't rate Wilder very highly at all, but he could cause problems for Joshua imo.

All in all it's a very poor division at the moment.

Joshuas almost a stone heavier like and Vlad got caught multiple times. Fury danced around a slow boxer joshua would finish fury with ease

What? Best shape Wlad has been in for years. It was an amazing fight and Joshua has answered a lot of questions tonight; I don't see the obsession of people wanting him to fail.

He's 41 y.o. - put on a great performance tonight. Still not in his prime years irrelevant of tonight.

Age is just a number watch the full fight if you said who was 41 who was 27 you wouldn't know klitchko at times looked amazing I don't think that fight would have went any differently no matter what klitchko got in the ring

Great fight. Knew WLAD would push him to the limit as he went in for speed. Thought he had AJ a few times just couldn't land one more time.

Fair play to AJ mind. Dug very deep and the power told in the end. A fit fury beats him with ease though.
