Egg chasers of the SMB

went up to see the falcons v gloucester last night. first time there and it was quite enjoyable. feels odd having a beer watching the game and also a bit odd cheering on anything with newcastle in the name.
good atmosphere mind. wasn't the best of games but still entertaining enough. falcons won with the last kick of the game.

Brian Moore recovering in intensive care after a heart attack, only 55.
He was the mate of a mate at University and a decent lad, hope he makes a full recovery.

Tense as hell in the 2nd half today, but great effort from the lads to see us over the line. Lovely day though, baking hot, Gem ale flowing and Twickenham it's usual deafening self.

Enjoy yourself at Wembo, we could do with Sarries winning that.

Routine win in the end. Don't think the atmosphere was the same as Twickenham. With the X Factor winner singing before the match and at half time, the rock choir, the kids dance troupe, the OAP dance troupe and the Mexican wave on 60 minutes, it wasn't what you'd call an event for the purist

That does sound shit to be honest. Twickenham wasn't immune from it though, there were a few attempts at a Mexican wave and the PA announcer had to remind people on a few occasions to use their voices, but when it properly got going, it was noisy as hell today.

Launchbury and Joseph to miss out?

Imagine not taking the best player from the 6 nations man

Where's that news?

Launchbury can count himself unlucky but someone brilliant was bound to be very unlucky in the second rows. Joseph has been up and down lately, so not entirely astounded if he misses out. But it will be annoying to see that he's missed out so Gatland can take JD f***ing 2

The 2nd row is unbelievably strong. But if he takes Henderson or Charteris....

Joseph has been iffy, especially for Bath. Last week he was superb against Leicester, then f***ing shite on Saturday against Worcester. Not taking him is a risk, but taking him would be as well. If he's on his game, he could win us the series, if he's not, he'd be a liability.

I hope this is a sign of Gatland making the tough decisions for what could be a very strong Lions team, as opposed to leaving out quality players to shoehorn in the likes of Roberts and Halfpenny.

He might as well select the Wales team from 2013. The guy's a dick. Scotland win 3 out of 5, playing some great rugby and they'll be lucky to get 3 in the squad. Wales finish 4th and will make up the bulk of the squad. Going to get hammered

Im starting to believe all the panic on the forums about a pretty much all Wales back line. I like Webb and Williams but apart from that none of their backline deserve to be in that squad
