Ahhh, that's what you are doing?I'll take a slightly saggy argument if it means getting to the root of attitudes that stop progress

100% safe will never exist mate.A safe, driverless car?
It will like!
Stop getting in the way of progress mate.Your hypothetical car wont ever exist that is the point. Man
Its sags because these modes of transport wont exist in my lifetime anyway
100% safe will never exist mate.
Im a LudditeStop getting in the way of progress mate.
Then my answer is the same.I never said 100% safe now did I?

Im flattered you think im getting in the way of progressAttitudes like his are getting in the way of progress.
I just hope that when it comes to the adoption of life changing technologies like driverless cars we aren't bombarded with similar statements such as "I will never get in a driverless car"
You know people used to think if you travelled faster than 30mph you'd get brain damage
Cars aren't 100% safe but I bet you get in them!

controversial. Is it progress? Some would say that technology is starting to ruin humans ability to function correctly.Attitudes like his are getting in the way of progress.

About a thousand miles a week why?Do you drive?

How? I could be driven by my driverless car to work every day. I'd still stuck in a traffic jam on the A19 not moving anywhere.think how better we could function if we didn't have to spend hours sat behind a wheel each year, we'd have more time to do more things
you can hardly claim 'driving' as part of natural human functioning since we've only been doing it for about a hundred years or so
I find it odd you'd get in a car but not a driverless one that is proven to be equally as 'safe'

But as you said this safe driverless car is hypothetical, it doesnt exist and very doubtful it ever will, therefore i wouldnt get it in it. Its not hard to grasp mate why are you keeping on with this?think how better we could function if we didn't have to spend hours sat behind a wheel each year, we'd have more time to do more things

Why the fuck would I want to work on my commuteYou wouldn't have to be sat there behind the wheel though, you could be treating like a train with the ability to do work whilst commuting
also traffic jams would be less likely and less severe if all cars were driverless as they'd be able to communicate with each other and avoid them
Why not have passengerless cars and we could all sit at home? Better still have workerless work places and we wouldnt have to work. Got possibilities thisYou wouldn't have to be sat there behind the wheel though, you could be treating like a train with the ability to do work whilst commuting

I already put in enough hours at work and then when I get home
Listening to a bit of 5 live on the way to work is one of the highlights of the day man
Im unconcerned about them mate if they happen they happen i wouldnt use them. I do keep saying this to you.how is it doubtful that driverless cars will be safe, or safer than cars we have today?
have you not kept up to date with the progress Google and Tesla and Apple and others are making towards driverless cars?
You're talking about them as if they're sci-fi lol:
that's why im keeping on about it, they're a real tangiable concept and will happen
this isn't something far off like a f***ing warp drive, it's already taking shape
You dont do humour do youI can only assume you're taking the piss because you're beyond the point where you could be misunderstanding or unable to comprehend
you're a teacher, you supposedly work all night when you come in? that's what the teachers of the SMB say, anyways.
if not work, treat like it a bus, have a read of something. treat it as leisure time.
