Is it time to split the PF forum? Don't care about the titles but maybe: pragmatists/fantasists; happy clappers/bed-wetters and so on (fannies/fannies could work for both opposing sides, but not much help here).

When I need cheering up, I can view the bed-wetter forum, when I want to read a serious post or ask a question, the other. We need them both, but would rather choose when I speak to all the nutters

Excellent. Perhaps we should also look to create special boards for women, men, Tories, Labour, UKIP, Socialists and Communists, monarchists and Republicans, together with separate areas for those who shop at Asda, Sainsurys, Tescos and Aldis? We need separate boards for those who chant at the game and another one for the tartan ruggers. Then we can have boards for different ethnicities, too? Languages? Accents? Of course we'll need to make judgments about the respective value to the club, of each grouping. All Sunderland supporters are equal but some (due to a superior gene base) become much more equal than others.

We could build a whole Socio-political paradigm on this system and back it with an industrial military complex 'cos we'll obviously need the material to 'erode' the low quality supporters, who are holding us back from our rightful place as the Father of English Football. It may well provide us with a Final Solution to our most longstanding problems.

I like what you've done with it already. Obviously that's exactly what I was suggesting, just thought it was too radical to jump right in.

Neither side or middle should be called anything, it's having an opinion.
For some reason this forum has a huge problem with anyone giving an opinion which doesn't match theirs to the point they call you stupid names "happy clapper", "bed wetter" or "can't wait till school goes back" etc, as if that person thinking we're going to go down this season makes them any less of a fan or as if it's somehow going to affect our next game.

If someone thinks we're going to go down due to our frankly shocking business thus far in the transfer window, then I can f***ing understand why, if someone thinks we're going to stay up as they think we're going to make some good signings before the window is shut then fair enough.

We've already got the strikers forum for the realistic and considered debate man, this one is just for a laugh - we're currently playing "who can make everyone feel like topping themselves" - short and Moyes are winning at the moment ;)

I guess you would be suprised of the amount of fannies that one side of the forum would contain.

Its beyond belief how many moaning fannies you can find on this site.
