Great fight and showed Khan can take a dig. His problem has always been the windmilling he does when hurt rather than his chin/defence.

Will be interesting to see what happens when he gets caught by a big shot on Saturday, which will surely happen at some point.

Khans got Virgil hunter As trainer now and looks improved, in Khans defence the 2 times he got knocked out they where brilliant shots and quite a while ago. He also took clean madaina shots and didn't go down, I don't buy into the glass chin stuff.
He got wobbled off Chris Algieri in his last fight. Chris f***ing Algieri

Bambi on ice springs to mind

Did he? I watched that fight and can't remember if he did.
Quite a few times mate. First and fourth he was defintely wobbled. The thing with Khan is his bollocks and pride are too big for his own good.

That's exactly right mate, that's why hunter is important to Khans success, to sure his defence and try keep him level headed, he did a superb job vs collazo. I respect Khan for taking the fight but it's just a money maker, IMO I don't think Khan believes he can win, why didn't he take a fight at normal weight, he was going a long OK and could of got a title fight quite easily.

more and more i see of Khan at this weight, the more i believe that Khan CAN win...IF he doesn't get caught while in close and keeps the fight at a distance. Styles make fights and this SHOULD be a cracker

I'm really looking forward to it, I hope khan keeps his hands up coming out of the clinch (as he's been caught a few time with that) however I also think Canelo can be hit as khan will have the speed edge on him...it's going to be interesting...

I disagree. For Khan to win he needs to keep it at distance and box as instructed. The way Mayweather fought Canelo would be the only way for Khan, single jabs and the occasional follow up right.
It won't make an entertaining fight but it's his best chance of winning. In my very humble opinion.

Don't think the glass chin thing is a myth, Khan is always going to be highly vulnerable to being sparked. He took big shots against Maidana because he could see most of them coming, but Alvarez will be hitting him with shots he doesn't expect.

If his chin was as bad as people go on about he'd have more than 2 knock out losses tbf.

the last time Khan fought any fighter with even a little bit of power, he got knocked out (Garcia over 3 years ago, who hasn't knocked anybody out since), khan has padded his record with wins against powder puff fighters....

that was three years ago.
tbf Garcia refused a rematch after the win , Bradley didn't want to fight Khan and subsequently got stripped of his belt (a while ago now ) and he's switched trainers since then and looks a lot more defensively sound, he's had four or five fights since he got knocked out and is now fighting Alvarez, a lot of boxers on a come back title bid have 3-5 fights like khans, then fight for a title... however you are right they weren't huge punchers. But it's certainly not padding your record, Devon Alexander has beaten some good fighters, collazo is no push over, the rest I would agree (even thought two were in defeated ) at the end of the day he's taken a massive fight against a beast so we'll find out how much Khan has or hasn't improved. I think he'll get stopped and should of fought Thurman etc someone at his own weight, however Khan looks money driven.

I rate Khan, i rate Canelo, and i do believe this fight will be one of the best of the year...
As far as fighting Bradley...iirc Khan turned down the chance to fight Bradley who in turn refused to fight Khan at a later date and moved up in weight..
Alexander WAS a decent fighter but when the fight was announced i said Khan was too quick and did everything better then Alexander...
The fight outside of Brook that i wanted to see again was Maidana after his last loss to Mayweather (but his motivation has gone sadly).
Thurman....i like him but don't know yet if he is really all that, the winner of his fight with porter should fight Brook next and unify the division....if its Brook then Khan can come back down for a uk fight
