Aeroplane gestures?

I would say three quarters did applaud, but those that never just stood and done nothing. Nothing nasty said, chanted or gestured.
Well there is already a link on this thread to proof two fans acted up but so the fuck what?

Out of 2 thousand whatever away fans you're always going to have one or two pricks, says nothing about the majority of Sunderland fans

How long is this going to go on for. Have the club said. Was talking to a few mags about it and while they join in, they think enough is enough.

me too.. sad thing to have happened...but lets move on from this....surely this isn't going to go on into next season

Aye just seen the photo. You get idiots everywhere. Thought this was being made out to be a number of safc doing it. 1 is too many, but 1 out of 2500 or so, is a very isolated incident. Still a dick for doing it.

I'm a prick yet you've gone out of your way to prove a very loose point at 2500 Sunderland fans based on Mags on twitter - take a look at yourself

Edit : and neither are doing aeroplane gestures
Couple of points. Firstly, I don't use Twitter. Was reading a mag board that was mentioned in an earlier thread. Within their posts was lots of accusations that our away support (of which I wasn't one) were making aeroplane gestures. As I'd heard nothing about this, and I had friends and family there yesterday, I thought I'd ask if anyone had seen it and said it was 'disgusting If true'. You've taken this as me wanting to prove that our fans did do it because I referenced another flimsy link the Mags are throwing around. You are a prick. I'm just surprised you haven't called me a mag yet. Very strange

I watched your fans through the 17th minute and saw no aeroplane gestures, or anything other than applause, a few lads around the front didn't applaud, but that was always gonna happen.......
Of course it was and tbh its quite rightly up to the person should they join in or not, as most did i thought it went off well.

I wasn't lucky to be at the ground so was watching the beam back in the SoL sports bar. There were definitely a couple of people in there doing it around the 17th minute, and I do mean a couple. The vast majority were clapping.
Good spot from the SOL Sports Bar. ;)

Clearly anyone who did this is beyond help and are unable to place in context a football rivalry and international incidents where hundreds of people die. Brain dead.

There was a lad in the row in front of me who started chanting "die die maggies maggies die" during the applause but he was told to shut the fuck up by the rest of his mates who were all clapping to be fair...

There's always going to be some bellends who take it too far like

Dear me mate. Its aload of bollocks and nothing of the sort happened. Saying stuff like you just have, is fueling the imaginary fire. We get these tales everytime we beat them. They can't hack being beat off the mackems and just make shite up. Carry on with the lie though, if that suits you.
I was talking in general, I dont believe the aeroplane gestures happened.

A few lads outside were singing about Gary Speed's suicide....wankers

Just reading the mag board and they are claiming some fans were making aeroplane actions in an attempt to mock the lads that died presumably. Anyone see this? Disgusting if true. I hate the Steven Taylor we wish you were dead song, wish we wouldn't sing it. I know it's only a very small minority but it's pathetic.

You believe what's written on a mag board after we have just beaten them for the 4th time in a row? The were deluded to start with, and definitely should not be believed in the current circumstances. Anyhow, making up shite is de rigeur for the workshy, benefits scammers.

Biggest load of shit I have ever heard in my life... All Sunderland fans, to a man, respected the 17th minute clapathon.....
I didn't, I was hoping we would score when their dodgy keeper rolled it out.

Stories like these ALWAYS come out after a teams lost to take some shine of the result. One bellend might have done it. But he's not a representation of Sunderland fans as a whole and anyone who's squirming (or trying to) about it knows that's the case as well.
